  1. It's the 23rd for most of the world now so, 15 years ago today Lady Gaga released her third studio album "BORN THIS WAY". Featuring multiple hit singles and fan favourites. Including the first and only song to ever use the word "transgender" on radio. Feel free to use this thread to share your memories, talk about the era, what you'd have loved to have happened. Paws Up

  5. It's still the best song on ARTPOP and one of Gaga's best. Such a shame it will forever be attached to R. Kelly and we'll never get it back or hear a live performance.

  7. I understand the hypocrisy of me saying this on a forum dedicated to a pop star, but stan culture is so gross and weird. It's one thing to be a fan (even a super fan) of someone, but this kind of response is unhinged and pathetic. The peak of parasocial behavior.

  8. 🛋️ “We need to have an honest conversation about-” “Do you know how much of my own money I’ve spent on you?? I have been coming to your office for YEARS & I'm still miserable! Thanks for nothing! You would be literally NOTHING without me! Good luck putting asses on this couch! Ungrateful has-been!”

  12. This album/era was a watershed moment for so many people, myself included. I would give anything to hear Bloody Mary & Heavy Metal Lover for the first time again. Bloody Mary remains her greatest instrumental achievement to date. & Heavy Metal Lover still has her best lyric (she will never beat it) Glory days. Long live Born This Way!

  17. Maybe we should stop writing about these things. Because honestly we as a culture are just repeating what happened to her in the 00s.

  18. MAYHEM is a return to form. ARTPOP, Joanne, and Chromatica were the (mostly unfortunate) detours.

  22. Her fans absolutely do, and so does she. Let’s not forget that she literally cried when she lost Album of The Year for RED at the GRAMMYs. And she then made 1989 with the intention of winning an Album of The Year GRAMMY specifically and admittedly. Not to mention she somehow “coincidentally” kept releasing variants for TTPD whenever someone who could knock it off the #1 album spot to keep it there even going as far as putting voice notes of her demo ideas that were just her mumbling sounds and incomplete melodies as “bonus tracks” on specific variants, ultimately leading Billboard changing their rules at the end of the year. That she even found a way around with changing COVERS on variants instead. And now she releases her music videos on Spotify instead of YouTube because YT no longer counts towards charts. She and her team are absolutely obsessed with sales and success like it’s entirely undeniable. It’s ok to admit that you wanna be the most successful — even though you’ve played dirty to get it. Also he was annoyed when he never got a Producer of The Year win back in 2018. Openly even talking about it. Like girl you ALL care it’s all you do. If you didn’t care you’d make music that doesn’t have a formula, and more importantly you wouldn’t be in the music industry if you didn’t care about success. Go back to playing in bars for no money if you love music so much. Exactly.

  29. U forgot to add the embarrasing delayed release by 1 week the week of the super bowl when her inflated ego finally realized there was no chance she was gonna be #1 and couldnt block Bad Bunny Lets also not forget this sad excuse for a female pop legend who is underneath all the success so mid and average (vocally, lyrically, choreographically etc) is literally surpassing ALMOST ALL of Madonnas commercial records because of her stupid variant and limited edition pressure sales tactics among others and perfectly calculating the timing of each release She may become the most successful Female Artist Of All Time in terms of bare numbers but I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER Recognize her as a Queen of Pop. NEVER because SHE IS A FRAUD!!!!!!

  37. What an absolute BOP and one of the best songs on ARTPOP, it's one of my favs. I still listen to this version because I bought ARTPOP on iTunes when the album came out (as everyone should). The Christina version is just not good because their vocals blend together too much and the solo version is really nice but feels like something is missing. I think the song has a great message especially because of how the media were treating her in 2012/13 and talking about her at the time and I am very glad I got to see it live at the ARTrave when I did. Him being a terrible person doesn't negate how amazing this song is and I'm glad it exists.

  39. When the Government Hooker Mugler fashion show moment happened something DEEPLY shifted within me. That and the entire Judas era. My favorite live performance of it is this one This era was such a HUSTLE for her she was everywhere serving EVERYTHING To the little monsters who didn't get to experience it, you MISSED OUT

  40. Taylor sure cared when she intentionally blocked Billie and Charli from going number one by bat signaling her minions to give her more money with fresh variants

  42. I think the absolute peak of her vocals for me has gotta be happy mistake, when she did that live on Tv I about died. Worst uhhhh I can’t think of one so I’ll just go with the meme of appetising young love for sale where you can barely understand her

  43. Above 200$ for Melanie Martinez is absolutely ridiculous. Her tickets should be 50-100 max. I don’t know what planet they live on… I produce shows myself so I know they get very expensive very fast but if that means the tickets are so expensive the audience can’t even attend them what’s the point ? Somebody somewhere lost the plot and this is not shade towards Kesha or Melanie, im sure they would sell out if the tickets were priced normally. People are not actively resisting having a fun night out, they just can’t go !!
