As someone who likes this song: I’ve never really understood the argument that fan bases need to organize and artificially inflate the streams on a track. Either people like it or they don’t, either they stream it or they won’t. There’s no obligation to farm streams or whatever.

I mean, she just clearly didn’t recognize what they were doing. It’s ignorant in a very literal sense (her not recognizing it as being a part of Arab culture) but not in the pejorative sense (she was intentionally trying to harm or discriminate against someone). Also saying “it’s my culture” is fairly vague and is the type of thing people would say ironically, so that’s probably why she didn’t really follow up or take it seriously. An apology is appropriate, but I also don’t think this is that deep.

It’s 2026 now, the youngest of Gen Z has turned 14, and you guys still want Gaga to release songs like 'Bad Romance'? I’ve seen tons of threads comparing her new music to her old hits. If you consider yourself a true fan, you should know that Gaga always wants to try something new and never repeats herself. She’s rapping now with an amazing flow, yet some of you haven't even listened properly and are spreading rumors that she’s just providing background vocals? I even saw a thread where someone was complaining about the song without even hearing it yet. What is going on with this site? Anyway, I have been dancing and going hard to this song nonstop since its release.

I listened to the song a few times, I like it, and a fan made an extended version so I've been listening to that instead when I want a hit of the c*nty Runway track. But I also have a 45hr/week job and audiobooks to listen to and thousands of other artists to stream on Spotify The last time I was one of these "buy one, buy two, but what you should really do is buy 20" stans was Joanne when I was practically giving out copies of the album to everyone I knew. Gaga's a billionaire, she'll be fine. Also, Ladle was definitely talking specifically about farming streams for her music specifically. We all still buy the records and go to the shows, we just have lives outside of keeping her latest release on repeat.

Imo, since it's not from one of her studio albums, but rather for a very specific side project, I think the stakes are low enough for you to safely listen & then either enjoy it or discard it without feeling any disappointment regardless 🤷🏽‍♂️

I feel like this is a release, where we should just enjoy whatever comes. We're still getting a music video, possible red carpet appearance at the premiere and maybe even a few tiktoks. I know that's a low bar, but all she did in the past 18 months plus what we know will come - it feels like she's not even thinking about stopping.

Wow… y’all are the worst. Hope this smashes like DWAS just to spite y’all. I think it’s really great - one of the best campy pop songs she has done in a very, very long time. its solidly 50/50 Gaga and Doechii with a splash of Bruno. It’s good, it’s catchy and I think it’s gonna do well.
