Not trying to interrupt the convo, but that was certainly true for Abra. In the non streaming era, Kendrick's Superbowl performance would not have resulted in him charting a bunch of songs in the top ten (I think it was five songs) during Abra's first full week of charting. Abra would have been a top ten hit and all the ridiculous nonsense about her not having a solo hit would be over.

And she needs to stop being attracted by success tbh. Sequels almost never work, Joker 2 was gonna be a disaster for her from the moment it was announced she would play in it. And then she thought “Yoo-hoo! Let’s do Wednesday 2!”. She basically just did a cameo and a song but they put her name everywhere as if she was a big part of the season, and the season underperformed. Thank God, they did not promote Gaga as something big in TDWP 2. They just let the crickets do their sound and it’s perfect this way.

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time, especially since there isn’t a complete and good-quality edit of this show available on the internet. The New York City Department of Health has confirmed the first case of a severe strain of the mpox virus, formerly known as monkeypox, in New York City. Symptoms include rashes that cover the face and body. According to the National Institute of Health, the fatality rate ranges from 1.4% to more than 10%. Health officials urge those who may at risk of the virus to get the two-dose JYNNEOS vaccine, which can both lower the chance of infection and reduce symptoms if someone becomes sick. That whole promo tour is shady TBH. AI narration, weird AI "song" to promote the book, they use a lot of archival footage, her rare appearances are extremely controlled. I love Liza so so much but something seems off with the way things are handled. She's either being stretched thin by her team or she's truly not able to go on with it.
