I get she is feeling bitter after being embarrassed in front of a big audience due to circumstances out of her control. But lashing out against someone who simply tried to help her in said moment is not a graceful thing to do. On the other hand, I see people being rude to those helping them daily at work all the time. The feeling of being powerless and/or at someone's mercy makes people feel exposed and weak, which eventually can culminate in aggressive behavior. Eh, whatever.

There are worse things. The reality is that the fact a computer can do this is amazing and unbelievable in many ways. I think there's nothing wrong with the animation itself. It's well-made, coherent, has a distinct style, and tells a story with a beginning, middle, and end. One could say a lot about the overuse of these kinds of tools for easy engagement, but in and of itself (even if many don't like it right now) it's the future, and it's only going to get better and better. It's no longer 'slop' I think. It's a paradigm shift in art and video, much like digital cameras, 3D animation/VFX, sound, or color once were. With every one of those changes, many critics spoke out about the "loss of humanity" (which is something abstract) but even so, "humanity" (whatever that means) has always survived, and society kept moving forward. I suspect something similar will happen in a few years time, and that 5 or 10 years from now, this will no longer be referred to as slop. What I can say now, for example, is that I would've absolutely loved to have access to these kinds of tools as a kid.

For comparison's sake, here's Liza in a throne on Drag Race. She's A LOT more comfortable and quick. The Oscars made her look like she'd lost her autonomy, like they wheeled her out of a hospital for a clickbait moment. Genuinely disrespectful. Gaga's help unfortunately contributed to that, but it was clearly not her intention. I think she was just caring for Liza the same way she learned to care for Tony. all we know is that she started with Vanish and ended with DWAS, and making the album took place over 7 months in 2023-2024. Little detectives could probably guess more by looking into her studio pics on insta but as far as i know the rest is unknown. You could guess she made GOE, Killah, Blade of Grass and Perfect Celebrity in the same period because they all feature Gesaffelstein as a producer. Disease and CSTH probably followed after Perfect Celebrity, leading Gaga to reconsider making the whole album sound industrial.
