I mean, I’m by no means a fan, but why are we assuming this is about politics? She said “stop letting people into your lives,” which I’m assuming means stop talking about your private life (hence “have more mystique”). It looks like some MAGA folks interpreted this as being about politics (hence the replies in the OP on Twitter), but I don’t see anything about the statement itself that reinforces that interpretation of this comment specifically.7 points

this is so ignorant, the loss of joanne was an incredibly traumatic time for her family that the pain was felt in the next generation she even has a poem she wrote for joanne in The Fame booklet and makes a big deal in TMBT film about how they say a prayer each night on tour that ends with joanne the fact she never met her is totally irrelevant because that pain has clearly been passed down through such strong family bonds6 points
