Honestly willing to give him the chance to make good on this sentiment. I don't expect him to, but maybe he'll surprise us. People always deserve a chance to right their wrongs.18 points

They are not promoting anything right now and before the grammy's and superbowl? no way they gonna say something, they speak up only when it's beneficial for them. And for the millions times, rich, capitalistic, privileged people don't have a say in what is happening in he world, because they are one of the cause for all of that and because they don't give a f-ck. during a nuclear war, what do u think these people would do? stay with you in the shelters or take their jets and fly away for their luxury underground shelters? and then do u really think that their 25k characters limited tweets will help u? stop giving celebrities this huge credit, they don't deserve that, most of them are ignorant pretending to be geniuses. they are as rich as any other billionaire. donations don't matters, the fact that we need to rely on their donations IS PART THE PROBLEM.18 points

How convenient to do this on the same week of his album release lol12 points

I'm not believing any of these words until he puts them into action. Donate your proceeds (or a large sum of your billionaire net worth) to charity and put in actual effort to compensate the hurt you caused.12 points

Oh god she's become one of those people who have an identity crisis and then bring a baby into the world thinking that's their 'calling' when it's really just another experiment to find who they are, except now there's a living breathing human involved10 points

Twenty-five years ago, I was in a car accident that broke my jaw and caused injury to the right frontal lobe of my brain. At the time, the focus was on the visible damage - the fracture, the swelling, and the immediate physical trauma. The deeper injury, the one inside my skull, went unnoticed. Comprehensive scans were not done, neurological exams were limited, and the possibility of a frontal-lobe injury was never raised. It wasn't properly diagnosed until 2023. That medical oversight caused serious damage to my mental health and led to my bipolar type-1 diagnosis. Bipolar disorder comes with its own defense system. Denial. When you're manic, you don't think you're sick. You think everyone else is overreacting. You feel like you're seeing the world more clearly than ever, when in reality you're losing your grip entirely. Once people label you as 'crazy', you feel as if you cannot contribute anything meaningful to the world. It's easy for people to joke and laugh it off when in fact this is a very serious debilitating disease you can die from. According to the World Health Organization and Cambridge University, people with bipolar disorder have a life expectancy that is shortened by ten to fifteen years on average, and a 2x-3x higher all-cause mortality rate than the general population. This is on par with severe heart disease, type-1 diabetes, HIV, and cancer- all lethal and fatal if left untreated. The scariest thing about this disorder is how persuasive it is when it tells you: You don't need help. It makes you blind, but convinced you have insight. You feel powerful, certain, and unstoppable. I lost touch with reality. Things got worse the longer I ignored the problem. I said and did things I deeply regret. Some of the people I love the most, I treated the worst. You endured fear, confusion, humiliation, and the exhaustion of trying to love someone who was, at times, unrecognizable. Looking back, I became detached from my true self. In that fractured state, I gravitated toward the most destructive symbol I could find, the swastika, and even sold t-shirts bearing it. One of the difficult aspects of having bipolar type-1 are the disconnected moments - many of which I still cannot recall - that lead to poor judgment and reckless behavior that oftentimes feels like an out-of-body experience. I regret and am deeply mortified by my actions in that state, and am committed to accountability, treatment, and meaningful change. It does not excuse what I did, though. I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people. To the black community-which held me down through all of the highs and lows and the darkest of times. The black community is, unquestionably, the foundation of who I am. I am so sorry to have let you down. I love us. In early 2025, I fell into a four-month long manic episode of psychotic, paranoid and impulsive behavior that destroyed my life. As the situation became increasingly unsustainable, there were times I didn't want to be here anymore. Having bipolar disorder is not a state of constant mental illness. When you go into the manic episode, you are ill at that point. When you are not in an episode, you are completely 'normal'. And that's when the wreckage from the illness hits the hardest. Hitting rock bottom a few months ago, my wife encouraged me to finally get help. I have found comfort in Reddit forums of all places. Different people speak of being in manic or depressive episodes of a similar nature. I read their stories and realized that I was not alone. It's not just me who ruins their entire life once a year despite taking meds every day and being told by the so-called best doctors in the world that I am not bipolar, but merely experiencing "symptoms of autism." My words as a leader in my community have real global impact and influence. In my mania, I lost complete sight of that. As I find my new baseline and new center through an effective regime of medication, therapy, exercise and clean living, I have newfound, much-needed clarity. I am pouring my energy into positive, meaningful art: music, clothing, design, and other new ideas to help the world. I'm not asking for sympathy, or a free pass, though I aspire to earn your forgiveness. I write today simply to ask for your patience and understanding as I find my way home.9 points

Anyways when all his enablers and sycophants are gonna apologize? It takes more than one person to sell literal nazi memorabilia, they permitted this, made profit, and they don’t have the mental health excuse. If he doesn’t fire everybody he was working with at the time I’m not believing this apology8 points

During Zombieboy last show Gaga suddenly had to laugh in the middle of the song. Seems like the dancers all did some pose that made her laugh. Found it very cute though https://x.com/paranoidgirl__/status/2015549378082021643?s=46&t=ppjsE61OVKWklgvWon0vmw8 points

Screen icon Glenn Close is calling out President Donald Trump and his administration after federal agents shot and killed 37-year-old ICU nurse Alex Pretti while he was filming them in Minneapolis. “I am outraged and sickened by what is happening under the Trump regime,” the eight-time Oscar nominee said in a video posted on Instagram. “The cruelty, inhumanity and arrogance, the voracious corruption, the cowardice, the sickening hypocrisy, the blatant manipulation of facts, and now, the cold-blooded murder of American citizens.” “The great American body politic is stirring, waking up, and taking in what’s going on, what the Trump regime is attempting to do to our beloved country and its citizens,” she said. “It is waking up and taking note. And mark my words: There will be hell to pay.” https://www.huffpost.com/entry/glenn-close-trump-warning_n_6977272ee4b00d7771d7a77b?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=us_main7 points

Performative or not, we all need to be against ICE and the DHS for their blatant lies and character assassination of Good and Pretti. This is about solidarity and pressuring them to back the **** down. Edit: and not only that, Americans cannot let this go. The agents who killed Good and Pretti need to be criminally prosecuted and so does anyone involved in obstruction of justice.6 points

It's not my place to forgive him, and I wouldn't right now anyway if it was, but it's been obvious from the beginning what this was to anyone paying attention. I hope he has the help he needs and strives to actively make amends with all the communities he's done harm to. I hope he finds a way to remain in a healthy state and get back to a place of fruitful creativity. The man is insanely talented; it'd be such a loss if his legacy ended with what he's been up to these last couple of years in his mental crisis.6 points

Obviously not every singer etc is going to speak up. But we should be questioning any celebrity we like who made it a defining part of their career that they were political activists and spoke up but is now silent. In 2025 I went to multiple concerts where the singer/band invited charities like MSF/doctors without borders and local foodbanks etc to fundraise and recieve donations. I've seen multiple celebrities use their platform to promote petitions, promote fundraisers, highlight stories the mainstream media was trying to ignore etc. Like there's no excuse. Everyone can and should be doing things6 points

Because they're sell outs. They only cosplayed as activists when it was easy, when it was a PR spot and good album promo. Now that it comes with the risk of a cost they aren't interested. They don't want to get their hands dirty. Their life doesn't get any worse under Trump, when Renee & Alex were killed nothing in their life changed. They actively benefit under the Trump presidency, they pay less tax and their incomes have never been better. They have zero reason to stick their neck out.6 points
