I quite like the idea of MAYHEM: Requiem being the name of a double album. I even made a concept:

The most realistic scenario is a release at the end of the tour in April. Anyone guessing otherwise is delusionnal. Gaga's quality standard is too high now for it to be edited in a month. The Harlequin special was recorded in september and likely to be released at Christmas of 2024, that's 3 months. Plus there's the fact that the show is called Requiem and it doesn't make sense to release it before the era is over. Save yourselves the disappointment and be patient

I have such a love and appreciation from this album and genuinely think it clears all her other albums. It feels entirely Gaga and everything she was and has been. The vocal training from being a jazz vocalist, the pop melodies and songwriting, the influences from all the artists she grew up with, the music she listens to now, it’s theatrical, it feels dance and disco as well. It’s everything to me. I also wanna point out that as much as we don’t love it, it’s so c*nt to me for her to make a song like HBDUWM to show she can make modern pop music like all the girlies after her. And then making Abracadabra as well to show her fans she’s “still got it” like she did back in the day to make hard dance music with amazing melodies, a memorable video, choreography etc also this TikTok proves that DWAS absolutely fits into the album track list perfectly sonically

I think this is probably popular but: The speech she gives before/during singing hair and the way she piles hair on her head and says she feels beautiful and its her right to do so (I think she said that or something along those lines) is something that has always stuck with me and honestly solidified her as my favorite artist. I was a little monster since The Fame and was always enamored by her theatrics and performance, I still am. But watching that special, and especially that song, really made me feel "seen" or understood by her. It was one of the first times I watched an artist who made me not feel alone

I think objectively it has to be Mayhem. Like both have issues with track list sequencing imo, partly because of the variety of genres across the tracks. Both have really high highs with no real lows tbh as well. But Mayhem's midpoints edge out TFM's midpoints.

This album (aside from Paparazzi) feels genuinely underrated in the fanbase. Everyone in the GP will talk about it over and over again, but in the fanbase it feels like people want to pay this album dust. It gets so ignored compared to other works of hers I feel (again, besides Paparazzi lol).

Don't expect anything new. When she did an event like this and released new stuff it was the iTunes festival in 2013 and it was highly publicised as new music beforehand.
