According to Gold Derby, Harlequin is now the favorite to win for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, to be celebrated on February 1, 2026. Gaga is currently leading the predictions at over 46%, followed by Elton John and Brandi Carlile at 42% and Laufey at 8%. Out of all the nominees this year, Gaga has the most wins (2), but this is her first time being nominated without her dear friend Tony Bennett. On the other hand, Laufey is the only other nominee to have won this category previously (2024 with her album Bewitched). Barbra Streisand is currently at her 14th nomination with no wins yet. Elton, Brandi, Jennifer Hudson, and Laila Biali are all on their first nomination this year. Prior to the announcement of the nominees, Elton John and Brandi Carlile's Who Believes in Angels? was the clear frontrunner due to its critical acclaim and predicted nomination for Album of the Year. However, after the album missed the final cut, and Gaga's chances increased after she was the most nominated female artist of the year and achieved major nominations including Album, Song and Record of the Year, and even a surprise nomination for Disease as Best Pop Solo Performance. Her momentum seems to be building up as the days go by as The Mayhem Ball just wrapped up its European leg to critical acclaim in every single stop, a lot of major magazines and newspaper have included her on their lists of the best albums and songs of 2025. Gaga also had significant appearances on the year end lists for Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music and YouTube Music. Gaga is currently predicted to win all of her nominations, with the exception of Best Pop Solo Performance, where she's currently at 43%, behind Sabrina Carpenter's Manchild at 47%. Though predictions can be wrong and the Grammys are known for being unpredictable sometimes, this wouldn't be the first time Gaga pulls a win that no one saw coming, after she managed to win Best Pop Solo Performance for Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Going?) and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Rain on Me despite being third in the odds in both cases.

Joker 2 was **** but has a few silver linings. It clearly had a positive influence on Gaga's headspace going into Mayhem, we got Happy Mistake out of Harlequin, DWAS was a massive hit that did wonders for her overall streaming power and Gaga wasn't blamed for Joker 2 anyway since the critics agree her acting was good and she had been underused.

Jesus Christ? I feel like people aren't shocked enough? This is insane! Summerboy, Hair, Brooklyn Nights... the fact that she's performing all of these deep, deep cuts live in 2025 is insane. This year truly is so special.

So I guess the Joker similarities were purposeful. I remember a lot of people being confused about whether or not it was a song for the movie because the title "Die With A Smile" definitely evokes that kind of imagery. Also, the retro aesthetic was kinda similar to Joker's.

This is sooooo beautiful I'm so glad she decided to do it! I told myself at the ARTPOP Ball at the next tour whenever she's back I'm gonna go to Melbourne because she ALWAYS sings unreleased songs there, after premiereing Princess Die in Melb too. This time unfortunately my bestie is in Sydney so I booked the last show.... I hope she continues to sing this song there. OR, At the last show, Bobby, please please let gaga sing The Cure at the piano, that would make my dreams come true!!

The echo in the video makes the song even more haunting. Truly mayhem up in here. Brooklyn nights has always been one of my favourite unreleased tracks, can't wait to see videos of this!

I love MAYHEM, I really do. But this is the nomination that really matters to me. Harlequin is fantastic, and absolutely deserves the win.

I really hate that the critics panned JFAD I really enjoyed it and wish more people did, it was a fantastic study of the mind and gave great insight into the character of Arthur Fleck, but y'all couldn't take the doll
