I was reading the Rolling Stone article again, and I can’t stop thinking about how this album feels like the end of a book, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. All of her albums and eras since The Fame feel like one long journey from the same book (not just chapters), shining a light on an individual shaped by pop culture, trying to heal. A self trying to make sense of the modern world. Each album is centered on something deeply personal. But with Mayhem, I feel like she’s stepping into the next big phase of her life. She’s healed, she found love. She’s closing that part of her story with grace, and now she’s ready to explore boundaries she couldn’t have imagined in the last twenty years. Lady Gaga is no longer a lone superhero. The way she shaped her story over the past two decades is, arguably, one of the most incredible pop-culture evolutions in modern history. The Mayhem Ball is one of the greatest art pieces of our time, and I hope that one day it will be part of the history books. I can’t wait to see what the hell she does next, because I’m sure we’re going to be surprised once again. I’m genuinely grateful to witness this32 points

A Los Angeles judge said Monday she’s on the brink of ordering the sale of Nicki Minaj’s $20 million Hidden Hills mansion so a security guard can collect on the $500,000 default judgment he won after suing the “Barbie World” rapper and her husband over his alleged backstage assault at a concert in Germany. “My tentative is to grant this,” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Cindy Pánuco said at an afternoon hearing. “I just want to make sure we’re getting it right.” She said the only outstanding document in the application to force the home’s sale was a statement from Bank of America showing exactly how much of Minaj’s $13.3 million mortgage she’s already paid since purchasing the home in October 2022. “Let’s say there’s no bidder who offers the full $20 million, and it goes up for auction, and they don’t get fair market value, and it doesn’t cover everything,” Judge Pánuco gave as a hypothetical. “If it doesn’t cover what the sale is required to cover — including the judgment, in this instance — then I would use that evidence to help me to determine that.” The guard’s lawyer, Paul Saso, argued that the sale would almost certainly yield millions more than necessary to cover everything. And if it didn’t, they could deal with that possibility at a later date, he said. But the judge wouldn’t budge, saying she wanted the bank statement first. “As I understand it, that’s the only piece missing. Everything else looked good,” she said. She set a follow-up hearing for Jan. 22 to receive the pending paperwork and enter her ruling.8 points

If I had so many people listening to my music such that I could live off that money, it would be the most divine and beautiful blessing I could imagine. A deluxe version? Sure. A collectors' edition with some funky extras included? Sounds awesome. The same exact songs on twenty different coloured vinyls just to extract wealth from my working- and middle-class fans? All in the name of further inflating my wealth? No. She's taken this beautiful gift she has received in her life—that people resonate with her art—and desecrated it with her insatiable greed. As if she needs a 20th property.6 points

The fart of Hamlet finally at 5 mill. Took her way too long. How Is it even possible that the Song has that many streams. Would love tò do a study how payols works in 2025 because that success was inflated Oh but dwas and birds of a feather was as well. There are still ways tò shove music down our throats. Anyways didn't knew paparazzo was nearing the billion club. Deserving.5 points

My 2 cents is I think people may be overexaggerating how much she'll disappear once she starts a family/gets pregnant/has a child. It's not the 1800s, women can have fully functional professional lives even as mothers.4 points

That's so crazy to me, T-Swizzle could fart on a mic and write a lyric about how she wished she didn't have beans for breakfast and still get that record every year Genuinely tho, no hate on her and I actually really like Ophelia but the amount of attention she gets is just insane to me..4 points

You don't have to be scared. The end of the first book doesn't mean the end of Gaga as an artist. I think it's just the beginning of what will become one of the greatest artistic legacy of all time. And remember: you can always reread the first book and find deeper meanings.4 points

I kinda feel like we're already there...There is an energy and excitement to her this era that we haven't seen in years. I can't quite describe it, but this already feels like a "new Gaga." She seems happier, healthier, and more passionate about music & performing than she has in a long time. She's also matured a lot and learned to separate her personal life from her professional/artistic one. I can't wait to see where she goes next!4 points

I think we always have this kind of feeling that a closure is on the horizon and perhaps that’s because we love her so much we’re scared to “lose her” I think Gaga is very passionate about her craft and I don’t think she will ever disappear completely I do believe she might fade from the public eye a bit for the next couple of years as she prepares to become a mother and I really think she deserves it and we kind of owe her that after all the time and effort she’s put into creating this safe space for us but she will eventually come back with a bang I get that Mayhem feels like a full circle moment, but maybe in the future we will look back at her discography and think it was just a small part in something way bigger4 points

I just had this epiphany. 1. I think Gaga will perform Can’t Stop The High after How Bad Do You Want Me at the last show in NYC on April 13th. 2. Then announce the next and final leg of the tour. It’ll be just about 1 year after tickets for the Mayhem Ball went on sale so it fits an anniversary type of thing. Like “hey guys I can’t stop this high, so let’s give one last go. Next stop — Milan.” 3. Then the single for The Devil Wears Prada comes out just prior to release on May 1st. Promo for whatever Total Mayhem could be. 4. Tour reignites in June 2026 and goes all summer. And concludes in August 2026. 5. as the tour concludes, How Bad Do You Want Me becomes a final promo single. And it compiles shots from the whole tour and is a final send off until she decides to release music again. End of era. am I delusional?3 points

In terms of performing the songs again, YES she will! In terms of revisiting the album…maybe for an anniversary of sorts. People like to write off Chromatica but I truly believe that she got what she needed from it and was able to move on to Mayhem. There would be no Mayhem if there was no Chromatica, imo. On Chromatica it feels like she faced off with dark themes (I think this is what TCB was all about). She even said at some point that “Babylon” being the album closer was intentional as it signifies the end of the journey but that you can keep dancing and moving forward to something new…which ended up being Mayhem. I think its so interesting how the GP is praising the Mayhem era as “the return of Gaga” and even the fans praise it as the “return of dark-Ga” but to me all of that happened with Chromatica, its a very dark album in the songwriting, and in the tour, just not in an obvious way. Anyways, Chromatica forever.3 points

Doesn't she always tend to omit songs from the previous album on tour? At least since the artRAVE? The artRAVE only had an acoustic version of Born This Way and then a very short version of Judas later on. The JWT only had Applause. The Chromatica Ball only had Angel Down. The Mayhem Ball...well, idk the setlist yet but I'm assuming no Chromatica period? I'm sure she'll sneak it into the piano segment though and in future shows she'll bring a couple songs back.3 points

Yes and no. I definitely feel like there’s a symmetry and closure to this era compared to the beginning of her career, but I think she’s also reached a level of confidence where she is just going to follow her muses. If wants to make a pop record and wear a crazy outfit (and I don’t think that urge will ever truly leave her) she will do so fearlessly, in a way that she wouldn’t have from 2014-2023. But there will also be many other adventures along the way. She’s Gaga unbound.3 points
