  1. Not surprised by this whatsoever. One of the reasons I still do not have a Tik tok and limit the amount of time I spend looking at IG reels.

  6. Short-form video has reshaped how people consume content online, and a new report from the American Psychological Association now directly connects that format with notable declines in mental health. The study draws on data from 98,299 participants across 71 separate papers to examine how TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar platforms affect viewers across different age groups. https://www.dexerto.com/tiktok/new-study-reveals-tiktok-instagram-content-actually-rots-your-brain-3285565/ https://psycnet.apa.org/fulltext/2026-89350-001.pdf

  15. In news: water is wet. This is why I stopped teaching... kids were becoming monsters addicted to their phones and the parents only said "it's their comfort object". No lie, I once had a parent tell me I can't tell a student to put his laptop away because it is his security blanket. I was then called heartless for trying to make this same point to parents/my boss and told I wasn't getting with the times. In the US- we have Trump because the growing stupidity of people got played to and those individuals had no cognitive capacity to actually spend time researching/analyzing credible footage (debates, news, etc.). I remain on an education board but refuse to go back to teaching until there is a ban on mobile devices in the classroom and they stop making everything virtual because kids cannot be trusted to go on their computers and focus or multi-task. Being able to walk away from social media and carry on with life when needed is an essential skill and its lost... and frankly because the parents now are rotting their brains the same way/passing it on. I think social media is fun but you have to regulate yourself or just be able to walk away and actually live life.

  20. Does Tyler, The Creator ever get tired? It's a silly enough question at face value, but when you consider what the Los Angeles-hailing, Odd Future-founding, Golf Wang- world-building creative has given to culture over the past decade and a half-only to have ratcheted up that same output with the release of CHROMAKOPIA and DON'T TAP THE GLASS in under a year's time-well, if rap were a sport, we'd be testing this guy for PEDs. His output through the end of 2025 did more than just reinforce his position as one of the most gifted creatives of his era. It confirmed him as a generational voice, an artist brave free enough to follow the flight path of every musical great that preceded him, an MC and producer who will always zig when expected to zag, leaving the game better for it in the process. July gave us the surprise release of DON'T TAP THE GLASS, his ninth studio album, a conspicuously danceable acknowledgement of the old-school hip-hop aesthetics and timeless Black ingenuity he'd been absorbing since he first understood music to be one of his callings. The album was a purposeful "two-step" away from the highly emotional and sometimes rigid introspection of 2024's CHROMAKOPIA, a project fans celebrated as his most personal to date. "I'm not saying it's the most mature, deep ****-everyone has different lives-but for me, whether it's me talking about my relationship with my hair and how that's affected me, or me almost being a father last year, or, you know, the relationship that I have with my father now-just so many things that I've decided to dive deep into-after the way that got off, I just wanted to be silly again," Tyler told Zane Lowe of his approach to DON'T TAP THE GLASS. "No deep album cuts, no slow emotional ****-I just wanna be fun and say outrageous **** and say inside jokes that me and my friends laugh at, and just talk big fly ****." You would have both heard about and seen "big fly ****" in the video for DON'T TAP THE GLASS's "Stop Playing With Me", which features the cherry-red Ferrari F40 Tyler purchased this past June. If you caught him wheeling around LA in it, consider yourself lucky, as headlining slots at Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Osheaga kept him tearing down stages the continent over. Which says nothing of the stage-and accompanying festival-he built himself, LA's own Camp Flognaw, now in its 11th year. By the time we bid farewell to 2025, Tyler will have made his feature-film debut in Marty Supreme, the Josh Safdie-directed period drama about a table tennis wunderkind, played by Timothée Chalamet. One could posit that it would take similarly brilliant weirdo artists to draw a long-established musical great into his cinematic era, but the truth is that we only see Tyler when he wants us to. And as our Apple Music Artist of the Year for 2025, here's hoping he ups it on us once again in '26. Celebrate Tyler's Artist of the Year appointment with a special selection of playlists dedicated to the songs and voices that have shaped the last 12 months. https://music.apple.com/id/multi-room/6754618149

  25. 11 tracks Multiplatinum global icon, Hilary Duff returns to the pop world with her sixth studio album, luck… or something, her boldest and most self-assured project yet. Co-written by Duff and her husband and GRAMMY®-winning songwriter/producer Matthew Koma, the album features 11 brand new tracks, including the critically acclaimed single “Mature”. After rising to fame as the titular star of the Disney Channel blockbuster, Lizzie McGuire, Duff first kicked off her music career with 2003’s 4X platinum Metamorphosis (featuring the Top 40-charting “So Yesterday” and “Come Clean”), then released her platinum-selling 2004 self-titled LP and 2007 autobiographical dance-pop collection Dignity. With those three albums alone selling a collective 15 million copies worldwide, she also established herself as a producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and New York Times-bestselling author, all while continuing to deliver standout performances in TV and film, including her award-nominated turn on Darren Star’s Younger. Recently signed to Atlantic Records, Duff is now launching a thrilling new chapter and sharing her first new music since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. • Mature Edition Vinyl - Includes 2 exclusive new versions of Hilary’s greatest hits – “Wake Up (Mine)” and “So Yesterday (Mine)”

  35. Hollywood is about to get a bit more cheesy. The Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium has revealed that United Talent Agency has signed the governing body for “the king of cheeses” to get the supermarket staple placement in films, TV shows and streaming projects around the globe. According to a statement from the group, the agency will “leverage its expertise and global connectivity across entertainment and culture to introduce Parmigiano Reggiano to a wide pool of partners, to further its message of gastronomical excellence and high quality ingredients, production and distribution.” UTA declined to comment. Product placement has become a big business, particularly when it feels natural to the film or TV project in question. As arguably the most famous cheese on planet Earth, ubiquitous in grocery stories, restaurants and home kitchen around the globe, Parmigiano Reggiano is uniquely positioned to find placement in a wide range of potential projects. “Parmigiano Reggiano is not just a symbol of excellence rooted in tradition, but increasingly a truly iconic global brand: in fact, according to data from the first eight months of 2025, exports reached 53.2 percent, with a volume growth of +2.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year,” added Carmine Forbuso, head of marketing for the Consortium of Parmigiano Reggiano. “This partnership with UTA, a leading agency in cultural marketing, allows us to connect with new audiences in an authentic and relevant way. With just three natural ingredients and centuries of artisanal know-how, Parmigiano Reggiano stands for simplicity, quality and depth and we’re excited to explore new formats and platforms to express this story globally.” https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/uta-signs-parmigiano-reggiano-cheese-film-tv-placement-1236431019/

  39. I think this is the most confusing thing to me. Like the entire argument for capitalism that they use all the time is that "it breeds innovation" and then you have the fossil fuel industry actively opposed to innovation into other potentially infinite energy sources despite them being in the best position to do so. I understand that nuclear in the west has been a political clusterbomb no one has wanted to touch for a decade or two but there are plenty of alternatives - I mean the US built one of the largest hydro-electric power plants in the world in the 1930s, they finished it early, and its still operational providing power to 3 states.

I had never seen Barcelona N2 before, and Mistress doing it from the floor is iconic... she's a queen! Unfortunately for Stock2 this has become my new favorite.
