idk she was really in her own lane with BTW it really didnt sound like anything else in pop music. tfm and btw era all eyes were on her and edm pop was becoming the trend as gaga was like dropping 5 minute long 80s pop rock tracks lol, if anything ARTPOP needed to come out in 201210 points

Is CSTH considered one of the worst songs on the album?? It's one of the best songs, and I think the general consensus is that it's good. Its inclusion (+ KFL and TDD) is much needed for the album imo. I think all three songs help balance out the album's sounds even more.10 points

https://x.com/gagadaily/status/1985146753155563906?s=46 I love her ranking of her Halloween costumes, cause I was thinking about it just yesterday and my top 2 is the exact same as hers.9 points

Congrats, no one is doing it like this song in 2025, already a hit and a classic on the same level as songs like "I Will Always Love You" and "My Heart Will Go On"8 points

She only sees her fans as a bunch of f words I guess, if the only reason she'd think people don't like Trump is because he's homophobic Also has she ever advocated for gay rights? I remember her blocking her fans who asked her to pay hommage to the LGBT+ peopled killed in the Orlando gay club shooting8 points

I hope she goes back to her Christian roots, it's a trendy thing to do right now.8 points

omg please I need more of the concert I'm like 2-3 weeks after and I still can't get enough of it, the impact it did to my life right now is huge. I'm to the point that I might join the rest of the team in Miami this march I also won $150 coupon to use on ticket master from burger king so like I've been saving it for Gaga7 points

A silly video/tiktok collab with Mariah herself would be everything... something like Mariah getting ready but Gaga steps in and says "Not yet". It would be fun and make the Queen of Halloween title ""official"" .7 points

There’s more to a song than just its sound. Lyrics, melody, production elements etc. Just because they have the same sound doesn’t mean they have to be liked equally.6 points

I’ve briefly seen and/or mentioned this a couple times in other threads, but I’m actually quite interested. If Perfect Celebrity is held in such high regard (plenty of people wish the whole album sounded like this) Then why is Can’t Stop The High so generally regarded as one of the worst songs on the album? I just think they have a very similar sound and so I find it interesting how they are received so differently.5 points

Firstly, when people talk about Latin America, they usually refer to Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. Central America is rarely mentioned. All of these countries have stadiums and sufficient infrastructure to host a Lady Gaga concert. Mexico held two concerts at the beginning of the year, and Brazil held one open to 2 million people, something that would be unfeasible in the US. A recent news report ranked Brazil as the second largest concert market in the world. In the last year alone, hundreds of international artists have come to perform in Brazil. Bruno Mars had his most profitable leg of his tour here. This is pure prejudice against Latin Americans. And I'm sorry, but if she thinks she's fulfilled her quota with Latin fans with two shows in Mexico and one in Brazil after more than 10 years, a fan base that is undoubtedly her most engaged, it's because she really treats Latin fans with contempt. And I say this because there is this general feeling among Latin little monsters.5 points

There were rumors several months back saying the NFL contacted Gaga and were very insistent on wanting her for "a project". We know it wasn't the superbowl, so the only logical reason would by precisely the XMas Halftime show. I'm 1000% that they asked, and i bet she said yes, and se will do it. You can tell there is hunger in her eyes. And like you said, the timing would be fantastic for her AOTY chances because right in the middle of christmas is when the final voting takes place. Some voters might vote the first week, but a lot vote up until the very end on the first week of January, as they are spending time away during the holidays. This event would help capture those last key voters, as she would be top of mind by then. Plus, it is entirely possible to pull off. I bet the NFL would take care of all the production and logistics, and Gaga can easily finish locking down the performance if she rehearses on those 10 days she has off between the Australian dates and Christmas. And she;s straight off the Mayhem ball so all the choreo has been learned regardless. All they have to do is lock down the music arrangements and practice. IMO, She should follow exactly what Beyonce did last year and only perform songs from Mayhem. Include Abracadabra, Disease and Perfect Celebrity mandatorily as these are the songs she sent to compete. Then round out the show with some other well established songs like Garden of Eden, Vanish Into You and The Dead Dance to show case the rest of the album.5 points

Ngl I feel like before the reissue a lot of fans used to **** on CSTH + KFL because they had heard them like once and it was inconvenient for them to listen to them so they just wrote them off, but once the tracks became easier to stream a lot of the liddos immediately changed their tune5 points

Spotify is facing a new class action lawsuit accusing the company of turning a "blind eye” to “mass-scale fraudulent streaming.” According to Rolling Stone, the filing alleges that Drake has been profiting from “billions” of fake streams as a result. The lawsuit lists rapper RBX as a plaintiff in the case, both individually and "on behalf of other members of the general public similarly situated." “Every month, under Spotify’s watchful eye, billions of fraudulent streams are generated from fake, illegitimate, and/or illegal methods," the lawsuit alleges, arguing that the situation “causes massive financial harm to legitimate artists, songwriters, producers, and other rightsholders.” Spotify pays out royalties through a “streamshare” model, in which all streams are grouped together, and then payments are made out by calculating a percentage to determine each artist’s share of those total streams. In turn, the lawsuit argues fake streams would devalue the payout to smaller artists. Despite claiming the use of bots and fake streams is a prominent issue on the platform, the lawsuit only names Drake specifically. It claims Spotify already “knows or should know” about a substantial amount of information that can prove the Toronto rapper has been profiting from bot accounts; however, he is not listed as a defendant in the case. Allegedly fraudulent activity took place between January 2022 and September 2025, according to the complaint. It claims an examination of Drake’s streams revealed “abnormal VPN usage” had obscured the location of the bot accounts streaming Drake’s songs. For instance, the lawsuit claims that over a four-day period in 2024, at least 250,000 streams of his song “No Face” originated in Turkey “but were falsely geomapped through the coordinated use of VPNs to the United Kingdom in [an] attempt to obscure their origins.” The lawsuit also alleges that “a large percentage” of accounts streaming Drake’s music were “geographically concentrated around areas whose population could not support” such a high volume of streams. No exact places or numbers were given, though the suit claimed that some streams reportedly originated in areas with “zero residential addresses.” The lawsuit also cites “significant and irregular uptick months” for Drake’s songs long after they’ve been released, as well as “slower and less dramatic” decay rates for Drake’s music compared to his contemporaries. (Decay rate refers to a typical streaming pattern where plays of an album or song naturally dwindle in the weeks and months after release.) source source4 points

The lack of taste or musical literacy here is truly remarkable…CSTH is arguably thematically and sonically more “Mayhem” than at least 4 tracks on the standard edition AND has the NIN/glam rock/dance theatricality influence that fans have been begging for since 2011…what’s not clicking It’s about having a TIME in the club…it’s about losing it at the afters during a comedown…it’s about an indulgent ecstasy fueled fantasy…in what world does its lyrics sound unfinished or like a P!nk song4 points

The CTSH slander….I am absolutely appalled. I love that song so much and I was under the impression everyone loved it too. Such a fun metal moment with early 2000’s influence, it’s fresh but still quintessential Gaga.4 points

See I'm the opposite way around, I don't think it fits sonically but lyrically and thematically I think it fits. Lyrically it feels like a sister of Perfect Celebrity/The Beast/HBDUWM with the reflections on her fame and the disconnect between Gaga & Stefani.4 points

I understand why it’s on Harlequin. Thematically and with its placement it really works, BUT god damn does it fit like a GLOVEEEE on Mayhem after The Beast. Seriously, if you haven’t heard it in that context, do yourself the favor.4 points

I love seeing the trend I started. Feels like Gaga thoughts is alive again! About this one, yes, it definitely WAS a mistake. BOG should have been on harlequin. It would fit in better with the rest of Harlequin quality-wise. And if Happy Mistake was on Mayhem it would receive more attention, which it deserves. It also fits the theme of the album better than BOG.4 points
