I was lucky enough to attend the second MAYHEM Ball show in Stockholm and I managed to get front row center at the B Stage and these are some of the pictures that I took and I just wanted to share them with you. The show was beyond amazing and I still can’t believe I was so close to her. I love Chromatica for what it is, but if anything, the intricacy of the production on MAYHEM only makes it more obvious how sorely that was missed on Chromatica. The songwriting is generally really good and I think, with more interesting production, it could be one of her better albums fs.

Listening to Chromatica again, the album still sounds divine and so well-produced. Probably her best lyrics from all of her albums, and honestly, the best visuals she’s ever had for an era. Thoughts?

I came back to it last week and after Mayhem, I found Chromatica a bit lifeless. It has its moments (Replay is still that bitch) but to me it's clear that Gaga was not 100% back to herself when she made the album. The core is still personal, but i don't know how to explain it, it's almost as if the sound was built around her and not by her? The spirit of experimentation is missing, the production is too clean and I'm left wanting some more spice.

In a startling revelation, veteran rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs allegedly awoke inside a cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn (MDC Brooklyn) with a knife pressed to his throat. It's amazing. Maybe a controversial take, and lily has always been an exceptional song writer with genuinely real topics in each song, but I think she is a much better song writer than Taylor Not to pit them against each other! But Taylor is constantly praised for her song writing and I think Lily really is underrated and is often forgotten. She's incredible

Speaking of 1B songs, Gaga is allegedly doing Billions Club: The Series, which is a podcast that Spotify does for artists to celebrate their 1B songs. It is supposed to be released in December, both Judas and Telephone should be 1B by then, but they probably record it before. December also happens to be when the final round of the Grammys voting starts. She'll obviously sing DWAS, which will hopefully remind them that it should've won SOTY and ROTY, so they'll vote for Abra instead and Mayhem for AOTY obviously

I often surprise myself at how much I enjoy it when I listen to it. It’s a good album that has great peaks and the simplicity of it relative to her other work offers quite a refreshing record in her discography.

Gonna be honest, as unpopular as it may sound: after MAYHEM I would enjoy it if Gaga joins Mark Ronson without Bloodpop. I want her to create an equivalent to Harlequin with original songs. Some sort of Joanne and Harlequin hybrid with more Close to you's, Happy Mistake's and Just Another Day's.

I still want her next album to be full dance/ house. To be even more dance than Chromatica. maybe, to sound like this:

I love Gaga and whatever she decides it's cool to me, Mayhem has been such a great album like no other since Born This Way and still listen to it every day and can say it's going to be like that for years. The article is most likely talking about Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack so I won't get my hopes up thinking there's a whole LG8 album coming that soon. SO if it does come out, it's not totally impossible. She released The Fame in 2008, The Fame Monster in 2009, Born This Way in 2011 and ARTPOP in 2013 and even Cheek To Cheek a year later with the intention of dropping Act II as well. When she's on fire we know she can do these things BUT if she decides to take a break to start a family I would understand it. Of course I'm praying something like this happens because it would be so badass but just keeping it real to what she does these years. Mayhem is Album of the Year worthy though. It's not an album you move on quickly from, deserves it's moment and it's been quite an amazing year.
