I was lucky enough to attend the second MAYHEM Ball show in Stockholm and I managed to get front row center at the B Stage and these are some of the pictures that I took and I just wanted to share them with you. The show was beyond amazing and I still can’t believe I was so close to her. So if you’re wondering which spot is the best one to see the show, it’s definitely at the B stage front row center like she’s there’s so much and you have a incredible view of the entire show You can find many of my videos here: https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE4MzMyMjMyNzE1MjI0NzU3?story_media_id=3742603803355834577&igsh=ZGpmZms4dmtzejFl46 points

Listening to Chromatica again, the album still sounds divine and so well-produced. Probably her best lyrics from all of her albums, and honestly, the best visuals she’s ever had for an era. Thoughts?17 points

She literally said in several interviews during MAYHEM promo that she will keep on releasing music when she will start a family11 points

I came back to it last week and after Mayhem, I found Chromatica a bit lifeless. It has its moments (Replay is still that bitch) but to me it's clear that Gaga was not 100% back to herself when she made the album. The core is still personal, but i don't know how to explain it, it's almost as if the sound was built around her and not by her? The spirit of experimentation is missing, the production is too clean and I'm left wanting some more spice.9 points

I love Chromatica for what it is, but if anything, the intricacy of the production on MAYHEM only makes it more obvious how sorely that was missed on Chromatica. The songwriting is generally really good and I think, with more interesting production, it could be one of her better albums fs.9 points

I feel like the gap between Mayhem and LG 8 will be the longest. She said her next goal is not new music , its to start a family. I think she promoted and performed mayhem so much and delivered because she wants to give something to her fans. mayhem ball is such a bless. We will have to eat every crumble of this era. i think there will be music here and there. Ballad/jazz n stuff. But a new album? I honestly do not expect anything before 2030. my guess is lg8 in 2032, but who knows.8 points

We got so traumatized by the gap between Joanne and Chromatica then Chromatica and MAYHEM that we can't believe LG8 is coming next year even when it's very plausible in this day and age7 points

We’re taking likes as proof now Might be unpopular opinion but I’m not feeling a new LG album yet. I’ve had Mayhem still on my daily rotation and it still sounds new and fresh to me. I still think it has something to do with the movie though6 points

I hope David Byrne gets it, I love Talking Heads. Or basically anyone but Taylor Swift. I went from really loving Folklore few years ago to rolling my eyes every time I hear her name or see her smug face. She can get it after some years when she's more humble imo.5 points

Let's not forget that there's still lyrics teased on her official website that were not on MAYHEM songs5 points

Well remember when people thought she was a lazy ass eating pizza everyday in pre LG7 era. The girl literally worked her ass off to make +50 songs done in the studio. The respect for her creativity has jumped off the ship sor hard in this fanbase5 points

Don't hate it ! But furthermore shows what an absolut talent Gaga is, cause she makes it seem so effortlessly to switch her intensity, speed, tone and truly takes you through a journey while singing Disease. Demi has a great voice and shines in certain contexts, but the understanding of the song is missing - which btw is totally valid, since it's not her song, nothing wrong with that 🤗 love Demi and we stan a Little Monster5 points

In a startling revelation, veteran rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs allegedly awoke inside a cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn (MDC Brooklyn) with a knife pressed to his throat. The incident is claimed by his longtime friend Charlucci Finney, during an interview with Daily Mail on 22 October. Combs is serving a 50-month federal sentence after his conviction on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. The alleged assault occurred during his incarceration in New York and its disclosure has stoked fresh concerns over his safety behind bars. Finney, who has known Diddy for over three decades, told reporters that the incident inside MDC Brooklyn appeared to be a calculated message aimed at the 55-year-old music producer rather than a full-blown murder bid. He alleged that a fellow inmate armed with a shiv crept into the rapper's cell and placed the blade to his throat while he slept. Finney said, 'I don't know whether he fought him off or the guards came. I just know that it happened'. He went on to suggest the motive. 'If this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed. It would only take a second to cut his throat with a weapon and kill him'. Finney also added, 'It was probably a way to say, "Next time you ain't gonna be so lucky." Everything is intimidation. But with Sean it won't work. Sean is from Harlem'. According to Finney, inmates at facilities like MDC often target individuals convicted of sex-related crimes because they believe they are entitled to what they describe as 'prison justice'. https://www.ibtimes.co.uk/diddys-prison-nightmare-rapper-wakes-knife-his-throat-shocking-jail-attack-claim-17496604 points

Idk why no one has thought of LG8 being a part of the LG7 era, the same way Folklore and Evermore are grouped as one era4 points

I’ll always love Chromatica. I think it served as peak escapism in pop music, right when the world needed it, and eventually people will look back on it and realize how amazing it is. It really set the trend for artists, but the state of the world shifted quite heavily with the start and end of the pandemic. Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, etc all jumped on the trend. It helped solidify Kpop into American mainstream media. It spawned the first all-female collaboration to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was peak camp mixed with environmental world building story and lore.4 points

The Gaga of old would have absolutely put on the same show. The show is the Gaga of old. But also the gap between Coachella & Rio was 2 weeks - literally no one, not even your mythological concept of Old Gaga would have had a brand new show in 2 weeks, with 2 shows in the middle of that 2 weeks lol The tour was always going be the same show but revamped - that was telegraphed at every step of the process. As for Gaga's "typical recent fashion" being not dedicating enough time to perfecting and preparing the show? Y'all ever heard of The Monster Ball 1.0? The show she decided to revamp entirely because it wasn't perfected. There's nothing recent about it - Gaga always perfects her shows once they go out, the JWT is the only tour she didn't make permanent alterations to the show's setlist/fashion etc. As for the lack of singles after Abracadabra. Stop living in the past. Its 2025, post-album release singles are dead. It was never happening, we're lucky we got The Dead Dance through Wednesday promo or Abracadabra would be the last single of the era lol4 points
