Don't hate it ! But furthermore shows what an absolut talent Gaga is, cause she makes it seem so effortlessly to switch her intensity, speed, tone and truly takes you through a journey while singing Disease. Demi has a great voice and shines in certain contexts, but the understanding of the song is missing - which btw is totally valid, since it's not her song, nothing wrong with that 🤗 love Demi and we stan a Little Monster20 points

Locket is the highly anticipated fourth full-length studio album from two-time GRAMMY®-nominee and multiplatinum-selling artist Madison Beer. Featuring the infectious dance track "yes baby" and the empowering break-up anthem "bittersweet," the new album tells the relatable story of falling in love, realizing the relationship is unhealthy, ending it, then rediscovering yourself and ultimately returning home to who you are. A true creative force, Madison sings, writes, produces, directs, and designs with uncompromising authenticity, and Locket cements her as one of the most influential voices of her generation. The album contains 11 tracks. https://music.apple.com/us/album/yes-baby/18469491155 points

the only thing i have an issue is when she said she felt forced to come out making it seem like theres a gay agenda that forces ppl to come out, when its the exact opposite since we live in a heteronormative world5 points

I like it, but her voice doesnt really fit here for me. I think she wasnt, but she sounded off to me the whole frist verse. the instrumentation was very awesome, i am just not sure if her voice is for this... Nontheless I am happy seeing her choosing Disease and show it to a new audience maybe...5 points

Ok so I was walking to the gym with my iced coffee and the fall leaves were blowing everywhere & I saw this grandma dressed in all black looking kind of creepy watching her kid play. I was like wait a minute... this is kind of giving Disease, so I tried to get out my phone to play the song. But while I was doing that, I accidentally spat out some of my coffee (I drink black) because I got excited, and then was like WAIT ANOTHER minute because I am legit in the Disease video right now. Yeah... liddo things I guess5 points

she was probably one of the only pop girls who was actually genuinely interested and educated in art and fashion, whilst the others just hot glued plastic and feathers and garbage to their outfits in a feeble attempt to bank in on the gaga craze5 points

So many of Gaga's idols openly shat all over her at the start. I absolutely love that instead of falling into the same patterns she has always chosen the high ground,. And now that she herself is an established legend, who has inspired a new generation of artists who listened to her music growing up, she has chosen to be a kind and supportive mentor to them. Hearing that she gives people like Billie and Chappel her phone number for if they ever need support, and seeing compilations of todays young artists doting on her, and hearing things like Doechii's speech when she presented her with the innovator award.. warms my heart. She will never be a nasty, bitter, mean woman like Madonna and Grace5 points

Lol im glad you feel that way - but I every time I want to watch a film, it isn’t on any streaming service. They do this a lot. I get you may like it, and perhaps it’s always been better for you - but a lot of people in my life have these same issues. Just a few weeks ago I wanted to watch one of the Scream films and the original trilogy was nowhere to be found for weeks because the licensing was changing for Halloween time. Same with the Scary Movie films. Not to mention, they take away rights to films all the time - and they edit and censor things. I’d rather have physical media so I know I’m watching what the original film was supposed to be too. Streaming served its purpose, but like everything else in life, they had to ruin it with greed.4 points

Also squared with pretty well with the white lace Ga being killed and then fighting with red lace Ga (given Gaga appeared in white lace first during that performance then in red lace when she accepted the award). We stan a dramaturgically consistent QUEEN4 points

Grace has always been this way. She's literally criticized like 20+ different artists. She's an icon, but she can be cruel. I have a bizarre memory, where I can recall random popculture facts from when I was like 13 but I can't always remember birthdays, and I distinctly recall her dragging multiple big names. I'm surprised the Beyhive sort of memory-holed it, but she even insulted Bey back in the day (but like over a decade ago), which makes it a bit amusing they later worked together. She's also insulted Mariah (not openly, but it was clearly directed at her), Rihanna, Gaga, Miley, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, and so on. I'm sure there are more. I think fans take things a bit too serious. The comments were mean, but I don't think any of the old artists had actual beef with Gaga beyond Madonna. Also, a decade or so ago, it honestly wasn't that uncommon for older artists to critique newer 00's artists, either, so it's not like Gaga was singled out. Taylor, Rihanna, Miley, etc. all were dragged, and even Bey (much more rarely). All of the girls-including Gaga-have also had legends praise them. Lastly, Gaga's a bit like Cher or Elton John. All of them can sing, but some people absolutely did look down on them for being campy and wearing goofy outfits, etc. So I think that probably contributed to the criticism. None of them were/are really seen as being "too cool for school" a la Prince, Grace, or David Bowie, and were seen more as goofy (in a sense) if fun and entertaining.4 points
