"Now, two transformative decades after her debut, she is making a return to music with the release of her yet-to-be titled fifth album, her first in seven years. Recorded in a mere “16 days”, it is, quite possibly, Lily at the very peak of her powers: the gut-punch lyrics, now with added years on the clock, are set to infectious pop, and her pitch-perfect voice is at its most beautifully fragile. Frankly, it will eviscerate you." https://www.vogue.co.uk/article/lily-allen-interview?utm_campaign=dashhudson&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=instagram&fbclid=PAVERFWANfKPNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABp6GMPUvu4JFFQGX5I5CUbG__KKnkFbwxwcptc2E5l44uNMcBkOMI79QieDP-_aem_tBvkQqvoroX_K9Vn7yco5w rejoice ! So happy she's finally releasing new music. She has been talking a lot about writing and being back in the studio last year, but I didn't thought it's actually gonna happen 💖14 points

Over the past few days we were so invested in Ophelia's fate, we didn't realise that TDD surpassed Disease in total radio airplay audience (17.66) and and new peak in position (#56). #56 (+1) TDD - 17.6611 points

Taylor Swift is once again facing criticism for her symbolism in her art. Users online are pointing out that Swift's album variants for her album "Midnights", originally depicting a clock on one side when put together, create a Swastika when turned over.9 points

The Dead Dance has climbed into the Top 10 on the US Adult Contemporary radio chart. It now joins Die With A Smile, making Lady Gaga the only female artist to appear on the ranking twice concurrently! https://x.com/gaganotify/status/19790236984063224099 points

People hate her because of her success. But she’s a good person8 points

Sh*t like this is why I sometimes understand the "both sides" argument, because wtf do you mean it makes a swastika if you reverse it and turn it on its side? I rather dislike Taylor, and I find the backlash to this new era so deserved and warranted, but stuff like this makes me roll my eyes so f*cking much. This is not the "gotcha" moment she thinks it is.8 points

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is benefiting from the Taylor Swift effect. The singer was seen wearing a vintage T-shirt from the aquarium while promoting her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” As is often the case with everything surrounding Swift’s name, the T-shirt featuring a graphic illustration of otters went viral on social media. Her fans started donating $13 — Swift’s favorite number — to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to show their appreciation for the singer. Now, the organization is rereleasing the vintage T-shirt to support its Sea Otter Program and other critical ocean conservation work. According to the organization, fans can get the reissued T-shirt for a limited time by donating at least $65.13 to its program. Donations can be made online at montereybayaquarium.org/ottershirt. Contributors will have the option to receive the shirt as a token of appreciation. x x8 points

The fact that this won't even cover the cost of caring for a kid with stage 4 cancer. Hope she's throwing some cash at the politicians trying to change the fact that families are crushed with eternal debt for the crime of having a sick kid.7 points

Why is this bad or even newsworthy? Don't celebrities do this kinda stuff to go shopping and feel semi-normal? I think I'm missing something. Or y'all are just being weird because its Beyoncé again.7 points

I think you're comparing apples to oranges, but lets say I agree with you, and that the situation in the US is equiparable to that of Qatar. Thing is, she is an American citizen, the US is her country where she and her family live, if she were a citizen of Qatar you could argue there is nothing to criticize. But she, with all the money that she has and the ability to buy luxury items anywhere in the world has actively chosen to go support the economy of a country that is well documented to exploit workers, that is the issue.6 points

TDD rose 2 spots to #14 on the Dutch Top 40! Even though it fell to #18 on the airplay chart, and has not been charting for weeks on the streaming chart. The 3rd metric of the Top 40 is “social media trends” for whatever that means, and no data is available on that.6 points

We absolutely should criticise someone who makes the active choice to go there and take advantage of the services available as a result of the issues discussed. Beyoncé, any celebrity, or any immigrant worker taking advantage of high paid corporate jobs in the oil sector etc are people actively ignoring these political issues and choosing to enrich themselves on the back of them. It is totally different to citizens who live there. Qatar is not a democracy, its a near absolute monarchy. And citizens lack the civil rights to safely organise and push for reform. I'd never criticize citizens of any nation as an entire populous because of the actions of their government domestically and internationally. But we should absolutely criticise those who make *active* choices to support bad nations for personal gain.5 points

these rich people are one of the causes why the health system in the US is so expensive, favoring the rich and they are gatekeeping any change to the system because of selfish reasons and causing these kind of families that can't even pay the f-cking million dollars bills to save the lives of their kids... but then these rich people donates them money and everyone sees them as the savior good people.. it's nothing but a PR stunt. Never believe the good intentions of a celebrity, they are all pieces of sh-t that cares only about themselves.4 points

Whatever’s Clever! is set to arrive on March 6, 2026, via Atlantic Records. Puth co-produced the album with BloodPop, best known for his work with Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, and more. Whatever’s Clever! will be Puth’s fourth album and first since 2022’s Charlie. While “Changes” will definitely appear on the record, a full track list hasn’t been revealed yet, so it’s unclear if the album will also feature some of Puth’s other singles from the past few years, including “That’s Not How This Works,” “Lipstick,” and “Hero.” (Last year, Puth also dropped a one-off holiday song, “December 25th,” which he said he wrote “on a whim” while working on Whatever’s Clever!) Last month, Puth debuted “Changes,” and a few other songs, at a four-night residency at New York’s Blue Note Jazz Club (with one show featuring a cameo from one of Puth’s songwriting heroes, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds). Puth will kick off a similar solid-out run at the Blue Note in Los Angeles tonight, Oct. 16, with shows scheduled through Oct. 19. x The singer revealed his wife Brooke Sansone is pregnant and expecting the couple’s first baby, sharing the happy news in “Changes” music video4 points
