  1. Im sorry but Charli’s SAIK is such a deep song, talking about how a bigger artist made her feel insecure, cause she could never be her. It’s something we’ve all felt at one point in our lives. I wouldn’t even consider it a diss. Just a song, where she opened up and sang about her honest feelings. meanwhile t**lor… what are those petty kindergarten lyrics pls

  6. full lyrics: I heard you call me "Boring Barbie" when the coke's got you brave High-fived my ex and then you said you're glad he ghosted me Wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face Some people might be offended But it's actually sweet All the time you've spent on me It's honestly wild All the effort you've put in It's actually romantic I really got to hand it to you No man has ever loved me like you do Hadn't thought of you in a long time But you keep sending me funny valentines And I know you think it comes off vicious But it's precious, adorable Like a toy chihuahua barking at me from a tiny purse That's how much it hurts How many times has your boyfriend said, "Why are we always talking about her?" It's actually sweet All the time you've spent on me It's honestly wild All the effort you've put in It's actually romantic I really got to hand it to you No man has ever loved me like you do You think I'm tacky, baby Stop talking dirty to me It sounded nasty but it feels like you're flirting with me I mind my business, God's my witness that I don't provoke it It's kind of making me wet Cause it's actually sweet All the time you've spent on me It's honestly lovely All the effort you've put in it's actually romantic Really got to hand it to you, to you No man has ever loved me like you do It's actually romantic You've just given me so much.. attention It's actually romantic It's so romantic

  7. Yes it’s as real as her lyrically genius lyrics “We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist, I scratch your head, you fall asleep like a tattooed golden retriever.”

  8. LG if you read this, PLEASE bleach your brows for the rest of your life! Regardless of your hair color, you are one of the few people in the world who genuinely looks better with bleached brows. It is so, so, so good. Best, NUTELLA

  9. My first and only Gaga show so far and OMG, might have been the best show I've ever attended. A few impressions: - 2.5 hours of pure theater and joy, complete with singing, screaming, dancing, crying - The production value and her vocals are completely off the charts - Act 1 is such a hard slay and a perfect intro - still rousing and fresh even after months of me watching the whole thing in Youtube so many times - Act 4 is, in my opinion, was the most impactful for the piano songs - we got Speechless and Hair. I could not hold back the tears. Soul piercing stuff. - I really ended up enjoying Act 3 (Killah, Zombieboy, TDD, LoveDrug, Applause etc.) way more than I thought I would. Killah in particular I have found total newfound respect for as a track (had so far not been one I kept on returning to) - Little Monsters are the absolute f'in best I am just so grateful to have had this experience and I honestly don't think anyone else is doing it like her. OK I'm done!

  10. This is why her music has become more and more sh*t, because she’s rewarded for extreme mediocrity and doesn’t have anyone in her camp to tell her no. We’ll prob see her next year with an even more subpar album with a random theme slapped onto it.

  12. “wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face” is crazy work because sympathy is a knife was a lot more complex than that… as a “poet” shouldn’t she have realized that lol

  14. Good riddance, Charli has been such a mean girl not only to Taylor but other girls as well

  15. Sympathy is a Knife isn’t even a diss towards Taylor. It’s about Charli’s own insecure feelings when Taylor’s around. Charli even concedes in the song that she might be paranoid about how she feels and that her emotions about it are messy and tearing her apart. This thematically connects to other songs on Brat about her complicated relationship towards her own art and other women in the industry (360, I might say something stupid, Rewind, Girl, So Confusing, Mean Girls). The only “bad” thing Charli wrote in that song was that she hoped Taylor and Matty broke up quick which…they did. Actually Romantic takes the nuance of Charli’s lyrics, twists them, and makes them Stan war fodder.

  19. "But it's precious, adorable Like a toy chihuahua barking at me from a tiny purse That's how much it hurts" Yeah right, that's why you wrote a whole ass song about it and put it on your album. Because it doesn't hurt you at all, nope, not even the tiniest bit, right?

  22. It's impossible how much every performance of Vanish gets me excited, since the first listen I knew this song was going to be amazing live... And I can't believe that in only 12 days I will hear this woman live after 17 years of waiting

  23. How embarrassing. For such an average overrated performer who simply capitalises on being bitchy in her lacklustre music with the delusional idea everyone likes her, this is a new low. From what even her own fans are saying at least lyrically this is a garbage attempt. Charli is innovative and clever with her art and lyrics, Taylor wishes she had any originality, she’s for general public consumption, deeply uninspired and uninteresting. It’s time she had a Katy Perry moment, long overdue. Taylor clearly only keeps herself interesting for being boringly controversial. At least Charli doesn’t openly mingle with MAGA sycophants, she’s a fraud.

  25. This album falls short to me Lots of instances of cringe and corny lyricism Melodies fall flat too for the most part of the album That diss track about Charli XCX was unnecessary I guess Taylor Swift's best song this year is How Bad Do U Want Me

  29. That album made me appreciate Gaga's production even more. I didn't think music could sound that bland

  30. This was a very interesting interview. I really think this era for her is becoming the artist she wants to be and finally accept, mourn for, and move on from the troubled girl she was. I feel like ARTPOP was mourning her artistic freedom before fame, Joanne was mourning her humanity before fame, and Chromatica was a direct biproduct of facing her past trauma in the face. Mayhem to me is now the healed version of Stefani finding a new connection and love for Gaga, divorced from the intense sadness and trauma that came with it. She seemed so grounded and in touch with her emotions in this interview. I'm very proud of the work she has done on herself and I'm happy that it seems she is just enjoying being an artist/musician.

  32. I'm calling it, this album will redefine the musical landscape for the next 20 years it's absolutely brilliant on every front, lyricism, production, vocal engineering, they really cooked

  33. Made it to the 6th song or so and usually skipped to the next one once she mentioned yet another ultra specific color.. like girl, that fire coloring pencil set you got for Christmas that one year in the 90s really gave you an edge in school.. but let it go, it's time, not everything has to be onyx, maroon or emerald green.

  36. Pitchfork posted a review of this track: https://pitchfork.com/reviews/tracks/taylor-swift-actually-romantic/ “Actually Romantic” is just, well, mean. And worse, it’s dumb... One of the main cogs in the Swiftian songwriting machine is spite, and it’s getting pretty rusty.

  37. Taylor is such a nasty spirited person. Embarrassed for anyone falling for her facade.

  38. From what I gathered, they're getting dragged over being excited about it cause Gaga is "just a human" taking their glasses... like be so for real people can be such lame-wet blankets

  39. Is this because of Charli’s song on Brat? I swear it weren’t even a diss towards Taylor

  40. Gives a delusional plastic vibe that everyone is in love with her. States she isn’t hurt yet writes a song about it which ironically goes on to weaken the theming of her album and help it look like a conceptual mess. Presents all of Charlis (alleged) shortcomings publicly as if she is at some sort of moral high ground. and all of these things aside, its garbage. Its the taylor equivalent to regina George screaming and writing the final page in the burn book before turning it in. I can see her hearing sympathy is a knife and screaming at her man then running downstairs to chug a glass of that brown liquor she says she liked and grabbing her notebook that is probably covered with stickers of herself and and writing this down in it while her hands shake with anger.
