Honestly there needs to be consumer protection laws around this. Clearly stated start times required, with refunds issued after 2 hours. No insurance against it, and fine issued. Nominal GDP for a crowd of 19,500 people is $666,000 over 5 hours. On top of that the downstream effects of this is crazy too. The stage crew that was probably there until 5am packing everything up, security that probably didn't leave until 2-3am. It's not just blatantly disrespectful, but disregards the safety of the teams that have to stay late and work extended hours to wrap the show up after. On top of transportation issues for concert goers. Refunding/fining artists/organizers/venues would fix this issue across the industry VERY quickly.13 points

Why aren't Gaga fans streaming the more industrial, grungier tracks like "Perfect Celebrity", "Can't Stop the High", "Killah" ? This is an outrage.10 points

I consider Harlequin one of Gaga's best musical projects to date! It's a masterclass in vocals and musical creativity, showcasing the wonders of Gaga's artistry! Do you still listen to Harlequin? What's your favorite song on the album?8 points

The hip injury during the BTW Ball and the GP’s resentment of her during ARTPOP were really, really tough. Ironically it’s now looked back on as an artistic high for her, but man did the tides turn. people talk about Chromatica being tough and I know it was for Gaga personally, but I don’t think it was too hard on us fans. It would have been very different had the pandemic not derailed plans.6 points

her vocals... does nobody else hear this? that horrible goat-like subtle shake she makes when she holds a note? she's doing it a lot in her current tour, elongating the end of sentences with this nasty off-key throat singing6 points

It's actually interesting how some of the biggest pop stars in the world, Selena, Ariana have less traditionally attractive partners. It just goes to show how love doesn't hinge on muscles and jawlines the way gays often think do.6 points

Don’t forget that a big part of this is because her early-days hardcore fans were mostly teenagers, as we all grew up and became functioning adults, most of us don’t have the time or energy to Stan the way we used to, and some have outright stopped participating in Stan-culture altogether (but are still big fans). and a HUGE chunk of Taylor’s fans are kids, pre-teens, and teenagers, who do have the time and energy to Stan Taylor as hard as they can, Gaga just doesn’t have that kind of fanbase anymore. but I also have to disagree that more people casually like Gaga than Taylor, based solely on my own personal experience, more people “like” Taylor and her music than Gaga, which is perfectly fine because Gaga just doesn’t make super GP-friendly music (she does here and there like with Shallow and DWAS, which are her biggest hits ever)5 points

I love this album so much. I couldn’t wait for fall to start, because I really associate it with the season. I listen to it almost every morning, it’s such a great way to start the day. It’s so much more than just jazz and traditional pop The mix of barbershop (Good Morning), New Orleans jazz (Oh When The Saints, Gonna Build A Mountain), Judy Garland-style cinematic jazz (That’s Entertainment, Get Happy), doomjazz (Smile), indie-rock (The Joker, World On A String) and waltz (Folie A Deux) is an amazing combination that really works well. The imagery of mental health in the photoshoot combined with the music really sets a great world building experience. A world that is clearly inspired by — and part of — the Joker, but really telling it’s own story. God, I love this album. It deserves all it’s flowers and I can’t wait for more!5 points

I think there were some elements of the chaos concept floating around her at that time but things worked out in the end for the better. Mayhem would not be the masterpiece that it is if she hadn't done it at the right time in her life with the help of Cirkut, Andrew Watt, Gesaffelstein and even Michael of course. I'm kinda glad she made Joanne because she got that sound "out of the way" as in, she probably really wanted to make that type of album at some point and Mark Ronson is very very talented and they made some great music together that later inspired her to work on A Star Is Born, etc.5 points

Hey everyone. 2025 has been an incredible year for Gaga and us as a fandom, with a critically acclaim album, hit after hit, one of the greatest shows of all times and awards left and right. But, Gaga has recently made a few comments regarding those fans who saw her in her lowest lows, especially during the ARTPOP era. So, I'm wondering, what has been, in your opinion, the most difficult time to be a Little Monster? Regardless of whether you follow Gaga from The Fame, ARTPOP, Chromatica, etc? For me personally, February 2013-August 2013 was a really rough time. Gaga was getting some serious backlash during the North American leg of the Born This Way Ball and then the tour was cancelled due to her hip injury. Then seeing her on a wheelchair got me very worried, what if she wouldn't be able to perform anymore? That was also the first time she skipped the Grammys, and her last single (MTN) was released over a year ago. I remember a lot of people turning their backs on her because of all the controversies. Madonna kept making awful comments of her, and all of her records kept being broken (most followed person on Twitter, most watched video on YT, etc). When she finally posted the first photo teasing ARTPOP and the Internet went crazy, I saw the light once again (I wasn't ready for the mess that was going to be the era but I was just happy we were getting new music lol).4 points

Benjamin Glaze, a 26-year-old former American Idol contestant, has been arrested in Oklahoma for possession of child ****ography. According to a recent post on the Tulsa Police Department’s Facebook, Glaze was arrested and booked into Tulsa County Jail on Oct. 18 after authorities found over 700 images and videos of child sexual abuse material on his smart phone. The department first became aware of the singer’s alleged possession of the materials in April, when they “received information regarding criminal activity” about Glaze, after which the Sexual Predator/Digital Evidence Recovery Unit obtained a search warrant for his home. His phone was recovered during the search. https://www.facebook.com/tulsapolice/posts/pfbid0YggtAioZ8HUx7uaABbF1o5aTSSqvRK7TTBL6VKBRGdZCdnYtT9uigyqdeuqorhaKl https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/benjamin-glaze-american-idol-arrested-child-****ography-charges-1235808219/4 points

My church has youth retreats recently graduates lead for high schoolers and chaperoned/mentored by adults. I was in charge of mentoring and directing the skits that they do that usually shows real life situations such as teen pregnancy, drug abuse, bullying etc. these skits are pantomimed with usually song ballads. Well, since I was in charge of skits, I had them do Happy Mistake for their skit and made it about teen pregnancy . The youth loved the song and it was such a moving piece! That’s my gay agenda!4 points
