imma be honest, after these 2 brutal updates I don't think it can go back to 2M unless it starts going viral on Halloween or really starts picking up on TikTok or something. The album has only one proper hit single Applause since DWUW is removed from all streaming services and G.U.Y. mostly does the numbers of a non-single. Applause alone is carrying more than half of the album's streams.

her body language shows somebody as fallen/trapped to me, who's also weighed down by cumbersome fashion and accessories, surrounded by abandoned cables/machinery and organic mess/dirt; she's trapped in her mind and has been for a while, like she sings in many songs i also think mayhem fell victim to the "main cover being mid to boost variant sales" theory because, in my opinion, the split designs represent the multi-faced sound and story of the album better than the main album cover they just have that special gaga edge to them too
