I recently created this The Fame album cover in the style of "Jade - That's Showbiz Baby!" album cover. Before I also created one for ARTPOP in the style of "Kesha - . (Period)"24 points

i really admire how she fully commits to doing a true world tour and to visit the markets where she knows she has fans and is appreciated. The tour has been a relative success despite the commercial underperformance of her album, and it's because she didn't give up on this era. Gotta hand it to her, girlie works hard21 points

We seriously need to start shifting importance from the Hot 100 to the a global chart. Its just not logical to have the US have the most weight and prestige when there is a chart measuring GLOBAL impact. Besides, at this rate with how fractured the media and music is becoming, it’s more telling how successful a song is GLOBALLY than in one sole country.17 points

are they doing this to boost the first-day streams for “The Life of a Showgirl”?11 points

It's ridiculous how anything that does not take off in the US is considered a flop. Mayhem has been Gaga's most successful album since Born This Way but whenever I make the mistake of checking out Stan Twitter for even a second, all I see is "no solo hit" or "save me "Bruno" The global charts and longevity of albums/singles fueled by stable streaming is a far more important indicator of success and impact than high peak positions anyway.11 points

Now this the real tea to measure Mayhem's sucess, not those flop USeless charts11 points

New songs from A-list male streaming forces left the Spotify Global chart after only 2 days. OUT. Camera - Ed Sheeran OUT. Dog House - Drake ft. Julia Wolf & Yeat Both songs were added on Spotify's biggest playlist "Today's Top Hits" last Friday. Yeah, I'm very satisfied with The Dead Dance's performance on Spotify so far actually.10 points

In exciting news for Swifties, Taylor Swift may be heading for a Super Bowl performance while Travis Kelce is on the field. A source revealed that talks are already underway for the singer to headline next year’s halftime show, which is set for February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The insider said, “Negotiations are happening with Taylor to potentially do the next Super Bowl.” If all goes as planned, contracts are expected to be signed in October, with promotional shoots locked in well ahead of game day. Taylor Swift’s anticipated performance at the Super Bowl is creating a buzz. If the singer does perform, she would be joining a list of superstar names that includes Beyoncé, Rihanna, Madonna, and Lady Gaga. The timing may also be personal since her fiancé, Travis Kelce, is about to start what many believe could be his last NFL season. A source told the Daily Mail that the feat will be a “shared memory” for the couple if the Kansas City Chiefs make it to the championship again. The buzz isn’t coming from one report alone. Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop previously reported that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have also been encouraging Swift to take the gig. “Beyoncé telling her this is the stage. Jay knows Taylor listens to Bey. He’s betting that respect seals the deal,” a source told Shuter. Another insider pointed out that “the Super Bowl needs Taylor more than she needs it,” noting her record-breaking Eras Tour and the upcoming release of her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/music/articles/taylor-swift-negotiating-terms-potentially-081412604.html Taylor Swift. Super Bowl LX halftime show. Are you potentially ready for it? NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said during a Wednesday interview on NBC's Today that Swift is "welcome" to perform the Super Bowl halftime show and teased that a show for next year's game is "maybe" in the works. "We would always love to have Taylor play," Goodell said. "She is a special, special talent, and obviously she would be welcome at any time." The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show is overseen by Jay-Z's Roc Nation, and Goodell joked on Wednesday that he's waiting on Jay-Z for an artist announcement. "It's in his hands," Goodell said. "I'm waiting for the smoke to come out." https://www.nfl.com/news/taylor-swift-super-bowl-halftime-show-commissioner-roger-goodell-teases-maybe9 points

I understand the frustration, but I hate the entitlement. She doesn’t need a reason as to whether or not she wants to/is able to tour somewhere. The “to you, we don’t even exist” is crazy. It’s entertainment, not a necessity.9 points

People need to understand LATAM doesn’t have the infrastructure nor professionalism to bring these massive artists. And I say that as a Latin American myself who works in the business. A lot of the times countries simply do not have the state of the art equipment that make up these huge stages, and renting them is expensive, or the artist has to bring them (which cuts profit). That’s why we usually get modified and watered down stages, because it’s the only way to put the show without losses. Then you have the fact that LiveNation doesn’t exist here, or representation is much more limited than other countries, so they have to find local production companies to put on the show, and that’s where lack of permits, delays and **** happens, because we just don’t have the qualified personnel to handle it all. There’s little music industry down here that isn’t local acts with small performances, so it really REALLY is hard to bring these A-list stars while keeping the integrity of the show intact. And taxes here are crazy. In my country the artist has to forfeit like 30% of the tickets just to play here. It’s simply not an attractive place to play from the business aspect. Now, would it have been nice for Arianna to foot the bill herself or play at a loss? Yes, but at the end of that day it’s still a business to her and her partners, and it makes no sense to spend 2 Million dollars in shipment and putting on the show if your profit is going to barely let you break even or even lose a few thousand bucks.9 points

I think the general public is so fragmented that it’s impossible to serve the masses, so now the only people listening to anyone’s song is their core fanbase, which isn’t big enough to achieve high numbers anymore.9 points

For some contrast, last monday we just did 2,030,195 streams, we are actually doing a bit better comparatively, if this translates to the next updates we might reach 3M again over the week tbh, or close to that.8 points

I knew from the moment I heard that first “Abra” that this song was going to be THAT GIRL and I am so happy to have been right. Bad Romance and Abracadabra are both in the same echelon of Gaga-perfection, and I knew it from the first second8 points

??? The dead center of the image that is accentuated with brightness maybe? I think it’s a fantastic cover because it immediately pulls you towards Demi and then you notice all the busy stuff around her, which makes the eyes scan the surroundings. And with her explanation about her being locked in despite the chaos in her life, the fact she visually achieved that makes it even better. This is an early contender for Best Album Cover at Grammys 2027 lowkey7 points
