We're coping. Honestly, it might be a blessing in disguise. This whole trip felt cursed from the beginning. Cancelled flights, stupid drama, difficulty setting ourselves up for the ride, trouble getting connected with Gaga's team (though I guess we know why now), etc. Now, with a rescheduled date, we can plan to have more mods there next time. @SharkmanthaC and @ChicaSkas especially. I'm gonna wait to see what the rescheduled date is. Until then, I'll be holding onto the book. If it's too far out or not feasible, we'll get it to Gaga another way other than a GGD meetup. But rest assured, this book IS making to Gaga. @Franch Toast @beli8 it was so nice meeting both of you I hope you can make it to the rescheduled show. No shade the fanbase is crap and hasn't helped in her succes for ages now. The fanbase is complaining project after project and isn't satisfied about anything (just switching one something that grab some success from the GP). The fanbase online is her biggest hater. If TTD becomes a hit, it will be another GP hit, just like anbything from her that went big in the last few years.

I was fortunate to see her the first night and I will say that I was absolutely floored at how outrageously demanding this show is. I’ve been a monster from the beginning and I know what she’s capable of, but good lord. MAYHEM is an insanely challenging album to sing even once through in a controlled studio, but the show is just pure insanity top to bottom. my husband doesn’t react to much and he was absolutely flabbergasted at her endurance and everything the show physically demanded of her. it must be pure hell on her vocals, body, ears, eyes, everything. we really could not imagine how she could do this show once, much less three nights in a row. I hope she recovers soon

Once again, we all know this. None of us are mad at her. But can you please stop ****ing lecturing us on how to react to this? Our hearts are broken, many of us don’t know if we can come back, and I think we have a right to be upset. No one is aiming it at her, we’re upset that this is happening.

Here’s the good news, this isn’t related to body pain or fibromyalgia, but simply something every vocalist faces at some point on a tour or in their career. The vocal cords are a muscle, and sometimes they get overworked and need to be rested. Not doing so could result in damage she cannot reverse, and we need to help her preserve her gorgeous vocals by understanding and respecting when this happens, as disappointing as it may be. I am so happy she is healthy, and this postponement is strictly the result of a very vocally challenging show, on an album she really stretched her vocal chops for.

I haven’t logged on in a while. Lady Gaga’s label added this song to Mayhem because her album is not performing well. We can say what we want about Dead Dance but I’m glad they released it and did a video. Her label finally did something smart because if they chose another song, it would have bombed and we all know it even if we can’t admit it. I can say this is by far my least favorite album but the three songs she added made it go up a few notches. I loved Abra and the video is amazing. Everything else felt underwhelming and even Abra couldn’t stand for long because the chorus sets the song back. Die with a Smile also never really lost heat. I feel good about the Dead Dance. It completes the album.
