A 40 year old fully developed adult. She is capable of free will, she is capable of morality. And she has used that free will, to actively side with an abuser of women - who preyed on young girls. Yes, more men should be held to the same standard. But it is ridiculous to suggest we should lower the standard, rather than bring people up to it.

No, y’all are crazy. She is not a bad actress. She’s not even a mediocre actress. She is a GOOD actress. Im not saying that she’s going to win the next 5 Oscars, but to say that she’s bad or that y’all get “second hand embarrassment” from her performance is crazy. I think the only not-so-good role was in House of Gucci. The accent was wild and distracting, but she’s been stellar in all of her other roles. And she’s known to act in her MVs too, which are also great. I really feel like Joker did a number on y’all, because if the movie was received well, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
