Love it or hate it (because some have their weird point of view, but let’s not focus on the negativity) Die With a Smile was released exactly one year from today; and is now her biggest hit ever, still charting in the Top 10 in Global Spotify. Lets celebrate 🎉25 points

Guys.. why are we acting like roblox is something from mars and like Gaga is unknown to children. Trust me she’s not + she’s been featured and arguably the main force of the biggest hit of last year.11 points

I think it really depends on the issue, it’s so easy for these things to become tokenistic. Remember when everyone was putting black squares on their Instagram in 2020 and then didn’t do much more? It’s the same equivalent. Yes, raise awareness and fight for causes you believe in and you’re close to - but I don’t like the trend that every person has to say something about everything, otherwise they’re terrible people.10 points

I'll never understand the hate the song gets from this fanbase. It's a great song and I think it's a perfect closer for MAYHEM8 points

A Grammy Award winning legendary duet for the history books. I remember us being scared it wasn't going to hit #1 right before the Christmas songs took over the charts because we thought that was the last chance and it'd drop by New Years. Look at the amazing run it had for an entire year.7 points

Gaga deserve a fanbase like Taylor's They actually show their support by actions. Streaming her songs, buying her releases and merchs, voting for her on awards show, understanding of her and not being too demanding, and everything else in between.7 points

A couple months ago there was a topic on here about Gaga being silent and literally everyone said that pop stars shouldn't talk about politics and that Gaga and other gay icons know nothing about gay issues, and that they prefer when people stay silent. I'm still shocked by this lol...5 points

I like the “get together, get together, get together…” chant at the end. Wish the album version had it.5 points

I actually like Cardi as a person but flaunting your riches and haute couture is not exactly the way to connect with a 2025 audience. It's a bit-5 points

Mayhem is the only Gaga album which I still can’t settle on a favorite track. One day it’s Abra, the next it’s Vanish Into You, Garden of Eden, Zombieboy or Shadow of a Man I'll go with Ms. Debra for now but they're all so good in different ways4 points

She recently got them dissolved and found a better doctor. She looks like her old self again. At 67, she has more love and lust for life than I do at 31. I want to be more like her (but nicer).4 points

Depends on when it would be released. Timing is a crucial factor in this case. Gaga’s IT-GIRL glory was quickly dying during the Born This Way era, especially in the second half of 2011. Had “Scheiße” been released after “Yoü And I”, it would have stood no chance to make it in the top 20 of the BBH100. “Marry The Night” just did as good as any single could. I think they pretty much picked the perfect singles (not really with the right timing), but truthfully, at this point in her career, the success of her singles wasn’t THAT dependent on the sound of the songs. “Scheiße” would have been #1 for a couple weeks if it was the first single, not for as long as “Born This Way”, though. It would’ve probably just missed the top 10 if it was released instead of “Judas”, “The Edge Of Glory” or “Yoü And I”, just for the its title and gibberish parts. In terms of massive singles success appeal, she was cooked after the summer and just couldn’t be saved, no matter what the song was. That said, for the 5th single and to maximize the chances to avoid a G.U.Y.-sized flop, I believe they essentially had two options: “Marry The Night” or “Bloody Mary”, the most accessible tracks for the GP as well as fan favorites. They chose “Marry The Night”, one of the two best options, probably hoping to kinda replicate the reception to “The Edge Of Glory”. I believe “Bloody Mary” would’ve been a slightly better choice back in the day, but it couldn’t have done wonders anyway.4 points
