Okay, I am pretty much convinced "Dead Dance" is real thanks to Variety & Billboard reporting it. I've been hyped since July and created a "Gaga Halloween" Spotify playlist, featuring Lady Gaga’s dark-pop hits & deep cuts with dark themes/imagery. Of course, we will add Dead Dance there once it is released. "Bloody Mary" is rising on charts every October, "Abracadabra" is the biggest dark-pop hit of 2025, & now "Dead Dance" from Wednesday 2. This is it! This is our chance to make Gaga the Queen of Halloween just like Mariah being the Queen of Christmas. I mean just look at these songs:

Is that true though? I feel like some hardcore fans want songs like that, but tracks like VIY, Zombieboy, HBDUWM, and SOAM get just as much love as those hard-hitting electronic songs. Maybe it's just me, but I find Gaga's disco/funk work to be severely underrated in the fanbase. Her covers of I Wish and I Want Your Love are some of her best. Likewise, a lot of The Fame (album) shares those influences and is also underrated. I've always wanted her to go down a full-on disco/funk era, and while we still might get that in the future, I'm content with this era being that for her right now.
