I actually think this would be a perfect time for Deluxe, in the middle of tour when hype is still high. Remember when Deluxe albums used to be released along the standard edition? Lol. I actually find it quite strange when artists release the Deluxe a full year after the album, like Ariana, love her but it feels like the era has somewhat passed by then.

I'm genuinely starting to think that this song is the best on Mayhem fr... Even Perfect Celebrity doesn't match the quality of Disease.

I wanted to make a thread explaining this but I cant make them yet I am almost certain that she wanted to make the encore feel like encores actually used to be back in the day, were they really were supposed to be extra surprise performances after the show is over, often as a gift for the best audiences that clapped and cheered the most. They were supposed to be unplanned performances, even improvised or with different songs on each show. Heck it was even common that bands would play a song they already did that night for a second time. So in this case, the story of the show is over with Bad Romance, the show is supposed to be over, and HBDYWM is supposed to be that extra gift for the audience, a song outside of the show, outside of the story. Her outfit is just meant to feel like she was done for the night, like she took the teather off herself, but comes back to give the audience a final present. Its meant to feel casual, personal. I think the beanie and the outfit for every night its also just meant to feel like the kind of outfits she often wears while going out in the street on a normal day and purposefully feel like it doesnt belong in the show.
