So I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and… In my opinion, Happy Mistake really feels like it should have been part of MAYHEM. The album as it stands is a powerful and cohesive body of work but there's something about Happy Mistake that feels intrinsically connected to the heart of it all. The lyrics alone "My head is filled with broken mirrors" for instance seem to echo the visual language of the album cover more directly than any other track. That fragmented, introspective imagery aligns so naturally with the themes explored throughout MAYHEM, it’s pretty surprising to me that the song didn’t make the final cut. Happy Mistake feels like it could have deepened the album’s emotional resonance even further. It’s as if the song carries a piece of the puzzle that would have added an extra layer of vulnerability and reflection to an already impactful project. Its exclusion to me is a missed oppurtunity and highly noticeable. I truly think it could have elevated the latter part of the album just that much more with a final striking note. What are your thoughts? Side note: Before the defenders jump in, I’m not criticising. I genuinely love MAYHEM for what it is and think it's one of her best albums to date.12 points

I went to Mayhem in Singapore yesterday, and the show was absolutely incredible — too amazing and hot to handle. I remember the moment when HBDUWM came on, and almost everyone in the stadium raised their hands with flashlights lighting up the night sky, I really felt it. That song has the power to bring people together. It turned the whole stadium into one heartbeat. And that was the moment I realized how strangely captivating the song is — even though it’s just a non-single. It was like the song lit up the entire stadium, not just with flashlights, but with something deeper — a shared feeling we all understood without saying a word. This song is screaming to become the next big hit. And honestly, after witnessing that moment, I believe it deserves to be. I didn’t record that moment myself, but you can check — the vid below is from May 19th.12 points

Musician and actor Demi Lovato and singer-songwriter Jordan “Jutes” Lutes are officially married! The couple met in the studio in January 2022, while working together on music for Demi’s album Holy Fvck. After nearly two years of dating, Jordan proposed to the Disney Channel alum in December 2023. This weekend, the wedding took place in California – and at around 4pm on Sunday, the pair said “I do”. The bride walked down the aisle wearing a pearl white Vivienne Westwood dress made with heavy silk satin fabric and featuring a corset bodice. “I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time,” Demi tells Vogue. A source told People that instead of following the gendered norm of having the groom recite his vows first, the couple played rock, paper, scissors to decide who would go first. x10 points

Why is that surprising, Dubai is a common rest stop for Singapore>LA flights, and it's still 7 hours of flight time from Singapore to Dubai, non stop from Singapore to LA would be 15 hours of flight time. Let me tell you from first hand experience, it's horrible spending that much time on a plane, the max trip i did was 10 hours and it was miserable lol10 points

I think people don't like this song because of the childish hate they have for Taylor Swift. If she didn’t exist, they’d all be living for this song.9 points

I think it represents the transition between Chromatica and Mayhe and the 6.5 project as a whole, lyrically it's very Chromatica, the self pain, doubts and the mental journey of Chromatica, while the production is very Mayhem, haunting, mature, a very 90s rock ballad.8 points

Well no lemonade very clearly had a narrative and it was a fairly complex one. The narrative was almost purely an emotional one, though, rather than a plot one. I would say whatever this is sounds closer to self titled if you watched it back to back to back.8 points

She flew to Sjngapore via Emirates. my friend was working on that flight and she told me Gaga and her team took over first + business class. I assume they are flying back to LA the same way = layover in Dubai8 points

This is not good. He has 37 tracks, with this logic gaga would have opened with +500K, but she only has 14 tracks so 219K doesn't seem so impressive. Opening numbers are a joke nowadays, artists just release a 40 album track and enjoy the headlines, Gaga is one of the few who still does it the proper way.8 points

Just my two cents, sometimes I think the amarica not appreciate Gaga or respect her enough. Like those media (usa today, the AMA official website) did not mention Gaga under their nominee highlights, even though she has 6 nom as tay and obviously has more nom than beyonce who only has 3. Do they not think she is as popular/big as others?? Maybe this is just useless competitive mindset and not a big deal, but things like this bug me every time https://www.theamas.com/2025/04/2025-american-music-awards-nominees-announced/ for example from usa today: Popular artists nominated Kendrick Lamar: 10 nominations Post Malone: 8 nominations Billie Eilish: 7 nominations Chappell Roan: 7 nominations Shaboozey: 7 nominations Taylor Swift: 6 nominations Beyoncé': 3 nominations7 points
