I went to Mayhem in Singapore yesterday, and the show was absolutely incredible — too amazing and hot to handle. This song is screaming to become the next big hit. And honestly, after witnessing that moment, I believe it deserves to be. This is not good. He has 37 tracks, with this logic gaga would have opened with +500K, but she only has 14 tracks so 219K doesn't seem so impressive. Opening numbers are a joke nowadays, artists just release a 40 album track and enjoy the headlines, Gaga is one of the few who still does it the proper way.

I still haven't processed how well Judas is doing on streaming right now 17 year-old me is quaking in the boots her mother bought her for college I.... I loved Judas so much, and the video a work of art. The absolute trauma of Gaga's public rejection and even rejection by my friends has made it emotionally difficult to listen to Judas for years. Finally people are recognizing the importance of this song and it's chorus of love, forgiveness, ecstasy and revolution, the bridge that is a poem that should go down in history: "In the most biblical sense, I am beyond repentance, Fame hooker prostitute wench, Vomits her mind. But in the culture sense, I just speak in future tense, Judas kiss me if offensed, Or wear ear condum next time." I didn't even understand the power of the song at the time -- but I felt it. It felt like a rebuke of all I was taught as a child, a celebration of something other than the good christian girl. The girl I never had a hope of becoming. And now people are streaming it... It doesn't just feel like vindication for Gaga. It feels personal. It feels like people are ready to recognize the power and beauty of difference. The consuming power of love. The power to be oneself under the scrutiny of the world. I just. I just I was so alone, we little monsters were so alone in the BTW era. And it was a different time for LGBTQIA+ folk, I mean gay marriage was still under debate in the United States. People thought trans people didn't exist. That time was so hard... And when Gaga said "I just speak in future tense", I did not believe her. I did not believe the world could change that way. And here we are, people finally listening.

The rumor is: because Gaga registered a song called “Dead Dance” on BMI (appears to have been recorded during the MAYHEM sessions) and Gaga is slated to perform at the TUDUM event on Netflix that Dead Dance is a new single she’s dropping to promote the next season of Wednesday (and potentially will also serve as the lead single to a MAYHEM EP or Deluxe version)

Yaasss. Imo the set itself was to big to fit in arenas, and ever since the announcement she said she chose arenas for a very specific reason. So glad it will be a new show. I hope though that the setlist will be able to rival the setlist of the past shows. Especially the run from BM to Paparazzi
