I have followed Benito Skinner on socials for years and always thought he was so funny. So I’m weirdly proud of him, even though I don’t know him at all, to have scored an A24 series that he wrote and stars in. It’s based on his own life when was a straight acting football star in high school and no one knew he was gay. I just started watching it and I really like it. It’s not at all as over the top as his characters on instagram but it’s very relatable.
