Hey! I've just released a music video for my song Ghosttown. This is about loneliness, and the way that this feeling follows you everywhere. It doesn't matter if you're all alone or surrounded by many people. Loneliness stays with you no matter what. And sometimes you feel like a ghost among other people. Or you feel like everyone around you is a ghost, because they're distant figures whose lives you cannot be part of. And in all of this, you're also always haunted by the ghosts of your past. This is my most autobiographical video to date. All the scenes in this video are abstract representations of my life events, and it shows the evolution of loneliness in my life. I believe that all these experiences have impacted me and made me who I am today, for better or for worse. There are different versions of every scene and each of them represents an alternative reality. I tried to imagine what could have happened and how my life would have turned out if things had been different at every pivotal point. What if I had never known loneliness, of what if I had only known it later in life? These are the questions that I tried to answer in this video. I kinda hope Gaga will go more regular in releasing music, just not doing 5 years break between albums. Taylor's strength is also in the fact she regularly feeds her community with new music. She has the stronger fanbase ever tbh Not saying she has to release a full 30 songs project every year, but yeah at least releasing a cute little EP, or extra pop songs / collabs between albums would be nice. Not counting jazz covers, nobody's touching those anymore DWAS type of release was the right move. And I hope will get more of those moments.
