This type of boost (to me) isn't even just Coachella or DWAS impact - it's actual demand and excitement in her and her music. This is bigger than any Tiktok Trend or whatever. I'm so happy, after Troy basically blacklisting her from Spotify and her having a real hard time finding her place in the streaming era - she finally did.

Judas being the first song off BTW to hit 1 billion is gonna be so satisfying the MAYHEM song I think actually has the most potential is VIY, I think they had it right originally (w the sticker). Despite having significantly lower playlist reach than GOE or HBDUWM, it's pulling similar streams to the latter and showing great stability. It sounds so summery, shows a different sound from Disease/Abra, and I think is more in line with where tastes are for pop music atm (it falls somewhere in between Birds of a Feather, Espresso, and Good Luck Babe – at least more than Abra did) VIY for summer smash and then follow up with HBDUWM in the fall (which I think is a surefire radio hit, especially if VIY does well)

It feels like she’s still stuck in a rut. The lyrics come off as a bit cringeworthy, and the whole thing sounds like an underwhelming B-side from Melodrama. She had so many potential directions to explore, but perhaps after the previous album’s flop, she opted for damage control. Still, the result is surprisingly lifeless and fails to evoke any genuine sense of nostalgia/appreciation for her past brilliance. The song simply goes nowhere and sadly, there is nothing to be to come back for.

I love her but, Beyoncé is doing VERY bad streaming wise for the standards her fanbase is trying to set for her. And she did those CC numbers before Spotify APK were deleted. Her 'hits' have like zero longevity. Her tour is having BIG issues as well. Gaga is bigger that Beyoncé right now that's the real tea. Beyoncé is the one who should feel threatened by a new Gaga release / re-release of MAYHEM tbh

No disrespect to Kesha but this hurts my soul Heavy Metal Lover is such a perfect and quintessential "GAGA" song that it feels criminal to water it down in any way.

I think we're so used to DWAS just staying on top that we're glossing over the fact that it's a record-breaking monster smash. It's the biggest song for both artists involved. Having this under Gaga's belt almost 20 years into her career is honestly mindboggling. PS - I can just imagine if Dinner feat. Adele really is a thing and eventually gets released. Say what you want about BalladGa, but she is honestly the slayer of charts.
