Tbh I challenge this take — it’s more than a “cute hit while it lasted” as it’s still gaining traction, even if slowly. Gaga, and Abra have proved your view wrong. The fact it’s even incrementally gaining radio traction, has stabilized in the 2+ million globally for Spotify, has stayed with the top 40 of the BB 100 for several weeks now, and currently has 107 million YT views is no easy feat in the current music scene, esp for veterans AND women such as Gaga. Look at how many other contemporaries, both old and new, that have bombed this year, some shockingly. You’re right that we should be proud, but not because she tried, but because she’s proving herself successful and relevant, all while proving everyone wrong. Idgaf about top 10 in the US — if it happens, cool, but the song, esp following DWAS, did something great. The release of Abra felt like a zeitgeist moment for her career, and it doesn’t need a top 10 to cement it’s significance.

The Paparazzi rendition was BEAUTIFUL. It's such a marvelous reimagining of the song. Back in the day it was my fave from The Fame, but I kinda overplayed it and I rarely go back to it nowadays. The Coachella version breathes new life into it, I want this version on streaming platforms!!!

He's the opposite of controlling tbh. He's the manager that says "whatever you (Gaga) want, I will make it happen. Whatever you don't want, I will make it disappear" Some stans want her career handled by another Troy Carter type that'll run her into the ground again and Bobby is not that man. There's a massive amount of respect and love between them. Doesn't take an insider to see that but for what it's worth, every interaction we've had with the man, even if it was as simple as asking us to remove leaks, has been beyond pleasant. He's approachable by fans, has met several of the mods personally a few times, and he even asks about Admin. He's a good guy, idc what some stan says.
