  6. Miley Cyrus releases “Prelude” the first song and visual from her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful available May 30, 2025. “Prelude” features Miley wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, as seen on the album artwork, shot by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford. Miley’s second song and video release “Something Beautiful,” the title track off of the forthcoming album explores her deep connection to fashion showcasing an original custom design by Casey Cadwallader for the House of Mugler in the visual. Reinforcing the project’s immersive, operatic approach, these songs mark the beginning of a carefully structured journey. 12. Many rappers have openly included the word 'chink' in their songs and never apologized, Miley made 'slant-eyes' with a group of white friends and got away with it. So when these underage K-pop trainees sang the N-word while they were trying to learn hiphop, is it really such a big issue?

  15. Rita Ora has been announced as a special guest for ‘The MAYHEM Ball’ across North America and Europe this year in support of Lady Gaga's new album, MAYHEM, which received widespread acclaim from critics and fans upon release and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. "I am beyond excited to share with you all that the incredibly talented Rita Ora will be joining me as a special guest on The MAYHEM Ball" said Gaga. Gaga will kick off The MAYHEM Ball on July 16 in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena. With multiple nights in Seattle, New York, Miami, Toronto, Chicago, London, Stockholm, Milan, Barcelona, Berlin, and more, this tour marks Gaga’s first North American and Europe/UK run since her iconic 2022 Chromatica Ball Tour. Rita Ora is an international critically acclaimed singer-songwriter with over 10 billion global streams and 13 Top 10 UK singles, four of which have gone #1. Her latest single “Ask & You Shall Receive” was praised by Forbes as “a summery floor filler,” and followed her latest album, You & I, which landed the coveted #1 spot on the UK Official Independent Albums Chart, and was summarized by Rolling Stone as “a collection of stunning love songs.” The album features the #1 US Dance Radio hit “Praising You (feat. Fatboy Slim),” which PAPER declared “a house banger” and “You Only Love Me,” for which Billboard praised Rita as “an expert in the type of sleekly-designed, electro-tinged pop on display.” You & I follows previous releases: Bang, a collaboration EP with GRAMMY-winning DJ and producer Imanbek; Phoenix, which has amassed over four billion streams and spawned four platinum singles; and Ora, her certified platinum debut album, which entered at #1 on the UK charts. Rita’s acclaimed singles and star-studded collaborations have earned her seven Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Chart, five of which reached #1, six Top 20 singles on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart, and a #3 Billboard Hot 100 song. As a multi-talented industry leader across TV, culture and fashion, with brand partnerships in key sectors, Rita has continuously expanded her personal brand to new heights. In 2024, Rita launched the performance-led haircare brand TYPEBEA alongside Anna Lahey, and the year before, she partnered with Primark to launch her first collection as part of a global multiseason collaboration, bringing together her creative vision with her long-term love of the brand. Her film and television credits include starring in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, Detective Pikachu, Twist, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, and Descendants: The Rise of Red, which broke records and became Disney Branded Television’s most-viewed Disney Channel Original Movie premiere ever on Disney+ by amassing nearly seven million views within its first three days of streaming. Rita’s additional TV credits include co-hosting **** Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and the MTV EMAs, serving as a panelist on The Masked Singer U.S. and U.K., and a judge on The Voice Australia. Rita will soon appear in the upcoming films Tin Soldier, He Bled Neon, and Voltron. UniversalMusic.ca

  26. DWAS breaks out of a tie with Miley Cyrus’ Flowers for the third-longest No. 1 on Billboard Global 200. If DWAS remains at No. 1 for another two weeks, it will become the second-longest No. 1 on Billboard Global 200, overtaking Harry Styles’ As It Was (15 weeks at No. 1). The longest hit on Billboard Global 200 belongs to Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, with 19 weeks at No. 1. Source: Billboard

  27. In order to protest high tickets prices and bs fees, I think we should all boycott the Toronto shows to prove that we won't be taken advantage of. We all need to ignore the presale on April 2nd and show Lady Capitalism-Ga that we won't tolerate fan exploitation and making the rich richer #pawsdown

  28. What do you think? Do you listen to only 14 tracks or all 16? The album felt like it was missing something and those two tracks were it- the missing transitional pieces. Now it is so smooth from one song to the next.

  33. THIS. Of course it is bad, but don't expect every single country and culture to understand the context and adjust to it all the time. In Poland for most of my life there were almost no black people in my hometown. Do you expect that everyone there will understand that it is bad and should not say it? Most of them won't because it's about people they don't even get to see on the streets. I mean, it's better now, but 10 years ago...

  39. Mayhem has no skips and DWAS fits perfectly after Blade Of Grass. I say this with no bias. Her best album to date. Truly mayhem tbh, that’s why some people get confused with the placement of the songs. But at the same time is so cohesive, cause it has this rock inspirations and proeminent guitars is every song.

  44. https://www.goldderby.com/odds/combined-odds/grammy-nominations-2026-predictions/ Kendrick Lamar's GNX is currently ranked at #1 Obviously it's early and there will be many more releases throughout the year, but if Gaga could sustain the AOTY narrative and involve Mayhem at high-profile events like Coachella, etc. and win major precursors, we really have a solid chance of winning AOTY this year. In the iHeartRadio interview with Bowen Yang, she said 'As a personal choice, I really wanted the mayhem to end.' Can you imagine Gaga being recognised for an album wholly about her inner chaos, and her relenting of control? It would truly be a triumph on a professional and existential level for her.

  45. Just to put into context, that awful Anxiety tune (no hate to Doechii, that song is just lame) is 18M overall with 6 days of impact. Debra is 21M after 2 months. Completely unfair to Gaga, I literally want to go to court for her.
