Abracadabra smashing on airplay worldwide, we love to see it! The U.S once again being totally out of touch, it’s the only market where the song’s not already an airplay smash, barely top 50 atm. Sorry but it’s not normal that old ass songs like Espresso, Beautiful Things, Birds Of A Feather, Bar Song or (yes) Die With A Smile still clog the airplay waves and the charts after a whole year. The Billboard Hot 100 is highly dysfunctional and it’s time for a change of rules, it’s a ****ing joke.

No thanks, unless it starts tanking bad. I’d say don’t have another single until early May. For reference, Bad Chem by Sabrina Carpenter peaked at #14 when it released as an official single on October 8th, 2024. It is still rising and just recently entered the top 10 on radio. DWAS released at the end of August and it took till mid January to become #1 on radio. Just the reality of pop tracks on radio these days. They take forever to climb the charts and if they do last that long they stay for an incredibly long time. See A Bar Song or Die With A Smile. They should release physicals of Abracadabra around Coachella including selling physical copies there. Chappell Roan took 6+ months to reach #4 for Good Luck Babe and a year and a half for Pink Pony Club to hit #7. Hot to go peaked at #15. Charli XCX didn’t hit Top 40 with 360. She was lucky to debut at #12 with Guess because it featured Billie Eilish then it quickly faded. None of her other singles have done any better. Taylor had one hit song that quickly faded off her last album with a Post Malone feature. Ariana flopped comparatively with Eternal Sunshine. Beyonce had one hit off of Cowboy Carter off the back of Super Bowl promo and then also flopped with her Miley Cyrus collab. It’s just the state of pop music.

??? When the album first dropped there were a ton of people complaining about its direction and how they felt like Gaga "mismarketed" it. For the most part, I think people are over that now and I've seen a lot more appreciation for it, but there are definitely people who disliked the album.

This whole solo hit thing is so ridiculous. Her last solo hit was Shallow... do you think people tuned in to hear Bradley Cooper sing... If you're going to argue that DWAS is Bruno's song then Shallow is Gaga's.

Just the big cities imo : Los Angeles, Las Vegas, NYC, Chicago, San Francisco and few more. The rest will have to travel. The demands has not that big for MAYHEM in the US comparing to the rest of the world, she should milk the European audience with several dates in the UK, France, Germany, and going in a lot of supportive countries she skipped for CBT. CBT was much better in Europe than in the US in terms of audience energy anyway.

Let's be real for the moment nothing is really taking off from trends. I'm sure they are waiting for Coachella to decide which one has the most potential after performances. They should 100% focus on making Abracadadra grow for the moment, it's still doing +3M updates, which is strong tbh
