  1. Taylor Swift’s Lover: Live From Paris returns to the Billboard 200, reentering at No. 2 with 202,500 equivalent album units earned (up from nothing the week previous). Of Lover: Live From Paris’ 202,500 units earned in the tracking week ending Jan. 16, album sales comprise the entire number (it reenters at No. 1 on Top Album Sales), with vinyl sales accounting for 161,000 (the largest sales week for a live album on vinyl since Luminate began tracking sales in 1991) and digital download sales accounting for the remaining sales. The set has no SEA or TEA units powering its reentry, since the album was not available on streaming services (thus, customers could not stream songs from the album directly), or through digital retailers such as iTunes, so customers couldn’t purchase songs from the album directly. In addition to the vinyl release, Lover: Live From Paris saw its debut as a digital download album, exclusively through Swift’s webstore, for a limited time. On Jan. 16, the final day of the latest chart’s tracking week, the set was made available in Swift’s store across four variants for six hours only, each priced at $4.99. One was the standard eight-song album, and the other three each contained the standard eight songs plus one unique live bonus track of a Lover album cut performed during The Eras Tour (“False God,” “I Think He Knows” and “Paper Rings”). 1. Bad Bunny — Debí Tirar Más Fotos • 203,500 units 2. Taylor Swift — Lover: Live From Paris • 202,500 units 3. SZA — SOS • 102,000 units 4. Kendrick Lamar — GNX • 64,000 units 5. Lil Baby — WHAM • 55,000 units 6. Sabrina Carpenter — Short n’ Sweet • 48,000 units 7. Billie Eilish — Hit Me Hard and Soft • 40,000 units 8. The Wicked Soundtrack • 39,000 units 9. Morgan Wallen — One Thing at a Time • 39,000 units 10. Gracie Abrams — The Secret of Us • 36,000 units source

  2. It’s shaping up to be a monumental event! Rede Globo is preparing to broadcast Lady Gaga’s spectacular show at Copacabana Beach on May 3rd, and it’s sure to make history. Not only will the concert air nationwide on open TV, reaching millions of viewers, but it will also be featured on Multishow and streamed on Globoplay, giving fans multiple ways to experience the unforgettable performance. This exciting revelation comes courtesy of Folha de São Paulo, which reported that an official announcement of the show is expected in the coming days. The anticipation is building, and it’s clear this event will be one for the ages!

  6. The silence probably is the backup plan. While I don't agree with putting all the eggs in the JFAD basket, I do think laying low after the fiasco was the right thing to do and is what most celebrities do when something bad/embarrassing happens. Don't address it. Stay low and make the public forget it. The pivot is probably that this new era will be treated as a comeback. We may not agree with that plan but it IS a plan.

  9. literally no one cares, claire. delete your account and stop spewing your dumb word vomit on your gross baby daddy's propaganda app. how is this the same woman who, 10 years ago, was my favourite artist and such a trailblazer in the indie pop world? she got lucky and was given a platform she wasn't prepared for and really shouldn't have. such a damn shame. edit - i know this rant isn't too necessary for this particular tweet, but her tweets recently have been really pmo

  10. Of all things, this is what she thinks is interesting or important to talk about? For her "personal pride"? B*tch your baby daddy is infiltrating the federal government and spouting nazi sh*t. But his gaming skills are the thing to be discussed? Need her to go ahead and f*** off already. Her music is not interesting enough to have to deal with any of this.

  11. She doesn’t owe anyone anything but come on, you can’t tease LG7 as “Gaga returns” and not create expectations among your fans for crazy outfits, performances, promo etc. She specifically left out the lady part and only mentioned gaga. To me it’s like she gets herself into these situations time and time again by her empty words. And I think people have been VERY patient with her. It’s been 5 years since an album, 9 years since a somewhat proper era and 11 years of jazz, covers, tributes, gowns and piano performances.

  12. am i the only one who's noticing that when she goes totally dark (and i mean not even reposting on tiktok (rip)), its a key indicator that she's super busy working on stuff?

  13. The plan was to ride the success, media publicity and oscar hype of Joker 2. When that fell through, they dropped the ball instead of coming up with a new plan.
    10 points
  14. that movie was disastrous for her and everyone involved, i can't help but feel Harlequin was supposed to be pushed much more, then we'd transition to LG7 promo on the awards season with red carpet interviews, tv promo, pre orders, live performances and much more.. Joker 2 success was a requirement for this, and they lost the gamble... Todd Phillips really ruined it for her, and us Let's hope they have a plan B.

  15. I understand the frustration with the precepted lack of promotion, but I'll hold my judgment for later because we just don't know what the plans are, let's have a bit more patience.

  20. They forgot the whole world was attacking her from October to December because of Joker. Her socials were flooded by people harrassing her and blaming her for Joker's fiasco. That was a tweet with 300k likes mocking her and her Instagram comment section was really hard to read. Add on that Trump won the elections and there you have a devasted woman who maybe wasn't in the right place of the mind to do promo or release music. But HEY if random user says that her team should have known better, who are we to judge?

  21. Love her and I will always love her. HOWEVER. This era is the ******* pits. If this is how she's going to promote her eras/albums going forward, just retire and release droplet singles every couple years. I cannot stand these eras full of silence. First Chromatica, now this. Why they can't replicate what they did for Joanne beats the hell out of me.

  24. She gave us two acoustic versions of Disease AND a 20 minuts interview about the song with Rolling Stone AND a Carpool Karaoke performance. She is LIVING in that interview. She is SO PROUD of her work. Stop thr drama, start the music.

  25. Honestly I think that the things we're acting "entitled" to is basic promo and celebrity behaviour. Like I don't need to know what she's eating for breakfast and what she does with Michael, but her general silence and lack of presence is so boring.

  26. Really thinking about our situation has made me realise that Monsters are probably acting “entitled” because reality is setting in. Think about it, this could very well be our last chance at having a “proper” era. Going by Gaga’s track record LG8 will release when she’s near her mid 40’s. By then I expect her to be in full Mom/ wife mode. If she isn’t giving us a full era during her 30’s, likelihood is that we will get even less in 5 years time. Her studio albums have been drifting further and further apart and I guess we are all desperate to get whatever we can before her private life truly begins. I will of course be happy for her. It’s what she’s always wanted. But it’ll also be the end of an era for us. Is it so bad to want as much content as possible before that happens?

  27. Such amount of disrespect towards a legend like Robbie. Taylor is another good example of those americans who think all that matters is the US. Y'all should repent!

  28. I’m happy with this era and I’m excited for what’s to come disease is her campiest song in a decade. She served looks throughout the whole video. She made fun tik toks and was commenting/sharing a bunch of fans videos. Gave us two live versions on streaming which she never has done. Did that 25 minute interview about the production of disease plus the album. Plus the Christmas karaoke. I think that’s pretty good for a single that was never going to resonate with the GP. You guys are being too harsh per usual, you set yourselves up for failure. She has the number one song in the world and is the top female on Spotify. Acting like this era is 143 when she is doing extremely well.

  34. If your talking about the synthesiser pop & rock music from the 80s. I think its just because it was the first generation of synthesiser music. All the Blitz Kids/New Romantics & New Wave pop acts were trend setters and truly revolutionary pop acts. Plus they had all these new synthesisers which had no rules on how to use them, but were still recording in the same formats as older acts. And I think since then production has gotten too slick, too processed and over enginered that its lost a degree of real feeling to it. Plus I feel like 80s pop & rock music was the first "recession" pop before we got the 2008-2010 era and the new resurgence of recession pop lol

  36. I know we can always hope for promo after the album comes out, but do you remember the excitement that came from previous first singles? It was insane. I hate that we haven't experienced that in 5 years. i don't feel that excited anymore and it's frustrating cause it would be so easily fixed by just seeing her doing interviews and live performances, especially since Disease is such a good single. Imagine the promo and looks that we would've got if she released this 10 years ago. Now promo is dead and there's no reason why it should be that way.

  37. Only 7 songs in billboard history spent 3 or more weeks at #1 after 20+ weeks climb to the top. Macarena — 14 weeks All of Me by John Legend — 3 weeks Cheap Thrills by Sia — 4 weeks AIWFCIY by Mariah — 3 weeks (initially, and the rest is history) Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi — 3 weeks Heat Waves by Glass Animals — 5 weeks Just Dance by — 3 weeks So if DWAS manages to snatch additional 4th week, it will be top 5 longevity smash hit of all time alongside refrigerated Mariah song.

  38. oh but when there's something to sell or some endorsement its all hands on deck, that's the part that low-key makes me dislike the kind of artist she's become. She can talk about makeup, champagne, and medications but she can't talk about the music? If she's done, that's fine but stop taking peoples money with cash grabs.
