That it would get 10M streams on it 142nd day. That it would go #1 in January in the US. That it would be a 16 weeks and still counting #1 in the Netherlands. The fact that it is the fastest song to reach 1B streams, and every 100M after that

I'm fine with Disease being treated as a buzz single, as it's a ****ing good song and it's very ery well received by critics. Not everything needs to click commercially imo I'm not worried anyway : next single rollout, Copacabana being announced, tracklist / title reveal, pre-orders. I'm sure we'll have other shots for exciting (and hopefully successful) stuff in the coming weeks.

the tearing down was something other people did to gaga in her early career, that's why I'm very sympathetic towards Chappell. Not that I agree with everything she does but she's not harming anyone, I feel like the hate I see online is not warranted at all.

Can someone explain how asking fans to submit an AI picture related to “rich and capitalism in the music industry”? I would understand if Chappell was criticizing lack of creativity in music or using samples or using AI in music and then asks for AI pic submissions. I would understand if she were criticizing the music industry hogging wealth and then she goes and creates a record label and pays her artists next to nothing. I don’t really see the correlation if I’m being honest. All I see is a Twitter user rage baiting for engagement.

It's the regular dicrease even with TTH the song was losing at least 100k every week tbh. The big positive thing is it didn't melt like ice under sun. Fans are still streaming it, which is good sign for the album even in the case it does not click with GP.
