Am I the only one who thinks that “Disease” is one of the best songs Gaga has ever created? The vocals, the little details, that darkness… I think few songs have given me this feeling. It’s as if, even to this day, I keep liking it more and more with each listen. When I listen to a song many times, it’s like they lose that magic over time, but with “Disease,” it doesn’t happen. With each listen, I like it more and more. I don’t know if it’s her best song ever, but without a doubt it’s in her top 3.

It’s funny to me how passing 100M, when Gaga started, was a huge milestone. VEVO created the “vevo certified” term, to highlight videos that reached it. By 2012-2013, it was the easiest thing to do, reach 100M views. The term lost its meaning, because almost anyone could pull that off. Fast forward to now, you either have big hits (Espresso, DWAS) that get to 200M+ quite quickly, or other big song that struggle to pass the 50M mark. Wild times.

I’m sorry but regardless of cheating accusation or not, that was way too quick to be rebounding into another relationship and or abandoning someone who is carrying your child. It’s insanely wild. The parties involved are so messy for this I don’t entirely agree with her talking about it now, she needs to heal and move on, but realistically, a lot of people would feel the same way if we were in that situation. It’s just so shitty .

I couldn’t care less about any of this and it feels like such a distraction. The media hoopla around this is so insane. Why do we care about these people? We have absolutely no need to pay attention to this drama while our government is on the verge of being gutted by the richest man in the world. People love their slop though.

Um idk about her best song Definitely her best produced song since 2016 (and even that's arguable 'cause I just personally love the analog production of Joanne and several songs on Harlequin). It's up there though. A huge step up from anything Chromatica/Bloodpop had to offer It's her most MJ-sounding aesthetic. I hope it carries through the rest of the album.
