  1. From ATRL Another outfit request by Gaga's style team today, for a video shoot in December. Last time this happened in early October to another Chinese stylist (as I first reported here too), and half a month later, Disease came out, so this might mean it's for the 2nd single music video. Here are some of his works on his social media account for reference.

  2. Wrong. I don’t do other drugs except for weed. I get too afraid of heavier stuff but cannabis is controlled and regulated so I feel relatively safe buying from a legal dispensary. I know my limits and am responsible with my intake. Sure, it can be addictive but addiction can happen in many other legal things. Elton is a legend, but I think his perspective on this matter is a little under researched.

  3. I’m inclined to agree with him, he has seen first hand what it did to Gaga back in the day, if I remember correctly he even gave her a stern talking to after she broke her hip.

  6. Elton John criticized the legalization of marijuana, saying it’s “addictive” and impairs cognitive thinking. “I maintain that it’s addictive. It leads to other drugs,” John, who was named Icon of the Year by Time Magazine, told the outlet. “And when you’re stoned — and I’ve been stoned — you don’t think normally. Legalizing marijuana in America and Canada is one of the greatest mistakes of all time.” John, 77, looked back on his own experiences with drugs, saying that cocaine was his drug of choice after being introduced to the narcotic by former manager and lover John Reid. Following the death of his friend Ryan White, who contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion, John checked into Chicago’s Parkside Lutheran Hospital on July 29, 1990 — and has remained sober ever since. 13. Omg whatever. Just because I do weed myself doesn't mean I have a craving to go do harder substances out there. People crying over marijuana but you know what I'll take getting high off weed any day over being sloppy drunk off alcohol.

  17. If alcohol, a much more destructive drug, can be widely used recreationally then I don't see any argument you can make for why weed couldn't also.

  20. While at the Mufasa: The Lion King L.A. premiere on Monday, Dec. 9, director Barry Jenkins, 45, revealed that while it's easy to assume the pre-teen got her role in the film because of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, that's not entirely the case. "Her parents weren't involved in her booking this film" "You know, she had read this book, this audiobook Hair Love with my friend Matthew Cherry. And I just really loved her voice. Because [when] this movie begins, it's all voices. I could just tell that she was going to bring this really wonderful innocence, but also the knowingness of a highly evolved child," he explained. "And she is... the children in the audience, they're going to see themselves in the character she plays, Kiara. She just brought all the complexity that it demanded." In Mufasa, Beyoncé reprises her voiceover role as Nala, while lioness cub Kiara is voiced by Blue Ivy. source

  25. I mean anything can be "addictive". People are dependent on freaking TikTok, it's silly to say they can't form a dependency on weed The key to this, as with everything else, is moderation and regulation. Decriminalize it and treat it like alcohol and nicotine. Simple.

  31. As a Gen Z who doesn’t know anything about Fortnite, I think this is a great strategy. Interscope probably realizes that this type of album will connect more with younger audiences, so they will probably push promo in a way that gets her music in the ears of people who otherwise wouldn’t listen to her. She probably won’t get any new fans from this album that are over the age of 30. Millennials and older generations will tune in regardless if they’re a fan, so there’s no need to promote to them. Gaga is at the point where there’s a dichotomy in her career. She has films and jazz projects that cater to one audience, and pop projects that cater to another. Of course LMs will support whatever she makes, but otherwise different projects need different types of promotion. Compare the promo used for Love for Sale to the intended Chromatica rollout. A prime example for me is my mom. She really likes Gaga, and works in the music industry. She wanted to see A Star is Born in theaters twice less than a week apart. My mom also was excited to go to Gaga’s Jazz show in Vegas (we also went to Enigma), and consistently sites Gaga as one of the best live performers at award shows. She absolutely loves Die with a Smile and liked Harlequin. However, with all that being said, my mom absolutely COULD NOT get through the Chromatica Ball film. She was confused by the prologue (even though she likes the songs), didn’t love the first three acts, and really only was seriously engaged during the piano section. After Enigma, she didn’t want to watch the end of the show. Gaga has fans in so many demographics right now, she her team has to be strategic when choosing how to promote each project.

  34. Bey’s husband was just accused of and being sued for r wording a minor with Diddy. Shortly after, Jay posted a statement discrediting the lawyer involved in the lawsuit and saying it’s all a scare tactic, all the while NOT saying “I didn’t do it.” Later on, the whole family was pictured at the Mufasa premiere (I think it was literally the same day as the statement), to show how unbothered they are. Now Beyonce is donating some change she found between the cushions of her couch to the same University that Tony Buzbee (the lawyer suing Jay Z), graduated from.
