Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles liked an Instagram post reporting that son-in-law Jay-Z was accused of raping a 13 year-old girl with Diddy. The post she liked was shared on Instagram by abc7Chicago and was captioned: 'Breaking news: Jay-Z, Diddy named in lawsuit alleging rape of girl, 13.' source https://www.instagram.com/p/DDVriZ9N7yB/30 points

Between this, the donations she and the tour made to a food bank and/or charity in every city the tour stopped in, and the local businesses who made money each weekend off the shows, a lot of people benefited from this tour. I know a lot of people, especially here, really don’t like her but honestly, she’s proven herself rather generous. She puts her money where her mouth is often. Not to mention, anyone who’s ever met or worked with her has nothing but kind things to say. To be such a polarizing figure, she certainly seems to be a rather kind and generous one. I hope her team and crew get some well deserved rest. Putting this show together 149 times around the world for almost 2 years is no small feat, and I hope they all are proud of it! I hope they enjoy going back to their families and enjoy the well earned rewards for their efforts.24 points

'Chaos' has to be a song or album title. She uses that word way too much24 points

The wisest thing I think would be to release a second single and promote both songs (radio interviews, tv performances etc). Disease is never going to be a hit, the GP simply wasn't here for it, but it can still serve it's purpose as a way to promote the album.24 points

Everyone has said in LA (where I am from) that "just wait until the Jay Z stuff comes out". I guess that day is here.23 points

Even if Beyoncé tries to clear her name on this, it's been 24 years since this happened. She probably knew all along and still went with it, I'm very curious to see how this unfolds22 points

Through its 149th and final show, which took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sunday, Swift’s tour sold a total of $2,077,618,725 in tickets. That’s two billion and change — double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history and an extraordinary new benchmark for a white-hot international concert business. According to Swift’s touring company, a total of 10,168,008 people attended the concerts, which means that, on average, each seat went for about $204. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/12/09/arts/music/taylor-swift-eras-tour-ticket-sales.html20 points

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour team put in the work — and she rewarded them generously. Over the past two years, Swift gave out $197 million in bonuses to everyone working on her tour — including truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, make-up, wardrobe, physical therapists and video team — PEOPLE confirms. In August 2023, as Swift wrapped the first North American leg of the tour, PEOPLE confirmed she’d given out more than $55 million in bonuses. On Sunday, Dec. 8, Swift, 34, took the stage at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver for her final show of the Eras Tour, which kicked off in Glendale, Ariz., in March 2023. he really is an undercover liddo that was fed up with the lack of pop music in recent years, he gifted her a whole studio, then he casually suggests she should make pop music again, his masterplan worked17 points

Watching this makes me realise she really is like the artists she looked upto like Bowie and Queen when she’s in the studio. I doubt any of her peers or contemporaries are in the studio like this (with the exception of Chappell Roan from what I’ve seen) going over every single piece by piece part of the song. Also I love how she’s honest about the use of vocal manipulation on the track to expand it. This interview feels so 2008 - 2011 coded and it makes me really happy and secure in thinking she’s about to give us her best album ever. I never thought she’d top Born This Way but I feel like she’s about to. Commercial success or not, I just KNOW I’m gonna love this album, the tour, the visuals and I feel like she could be about to get her first 90+ critic score for an album too12 points

Lady Gaga Now @ladygaganownet · 13min Lady Gaga said that people will be surprised by the variety of songs on her new album #LG7: "When you press play, after the first few songs, you think you know what you're getting into, but then, you don’t." Oh my god12 points

Fantastic video! I love hearing her talk about her creative process. It sounds like she had a lot of fun making this album and I'm so f*cking excited to hear it all in a couple of months I also love the fact that Michael is really stepping up. I mean, the man built a studio for her in her home AND he's in there actively working on the album?? Her relationship with him is everything12 points

This was amazing! I need a 23 minute production breakdown for every song she’s ever made, thx11 points

surely the album art cover + title are around the corner but this is great, i don't recall an interview like this since forever, it felt so natural and genuine, almost like the gaga of old, she sooo happy and proud of her new creations, it felt great to have a glimpse on her thought process. i also feel like this interview has clues about the album, like many people are pointing out, she said chaos way too many times11 points

"“There’s one song I’m thinking of in particular that I’m very excited for the fans to hear. It was the very first song we wrote for this album and it’s like, hard hitting beats and those big sweeping Queen vocals and some Bowie guitars” - Lady Gaga on #LG7" From antpats2 on X11 points

I couldnt stop smiling watching this. You can tell she is so excited and confident about this with how her face lights up when she speaks. She's also so good at telling stories that I could listen to her all day talking about the creation of the album. I also believe Chaos has to mean something regarding LG7 'cause you can get drunk if you take a shot every time she mentions it during this video.10 points

I am actually crying you guys, I really don’t want to sound dramatic but she is genuinly back. She is feels so present, so intune with herself once again, she spoke with so much passion and clarity, I haven’t heard her give an interview like this in over a decade. There’s a flame in there for music once again and I am just so happy. Ow Michael idk what you did but I really feel like he healed her in some way and for that we are eternally grateful. I am also excited to hear the album is more diverse than we initially thought, February can’t come soon enough!!!9 points

This is all I’ve ever wanted from Gaga I love seeing her talk about music with such passion and knowledge, it just gives a glimpse on why goes on in her head and I’m so proud to Stan such a genius. She truly doesn’t get enough credit for how hands on and educated she is with everything she does. LG7 is really shaping up to be the best Gaga album I can just feel it.9 points

Dreamy sounds paired with hard-hitting beats, infused with Bowie and Queen inspirations, and layered with industrial undertones? That sounds like a Homogenic-style electronic epic—reimagined through Gaga’s lens, of course.9 points
