  1. Lady Gaga on Her New Guitar Version of “Disease”—and What to Expect From LG7 - On LG7, meanwhile, which has a February release date, Gaga says you can expect the unexpected; The star allowed herself the freedom to create without limitations or labels—with a clear emphasis, of course, on a return to dark-pop, a sound she made her signature on The Fame Monster more than a decade ago. - “The album is chaotic from a genre perspective,” teases Gaga of her seventh studio album—out in February. “Each song is an exercise in personal chaos—a way to deal with myself.” - Gaga is no stranger to experimenting with different sounds, of course. […] For the star, that sense of play and discovery is what drives her creativity forward. “I love producing—I always have—and something that was really important to me making my seventh studio album was blending live instrumentation with programming,” says Gaga. - “The album is not extremely serious in that its very fun and meant to be enjoyed at a party, in a club, or at home having personal fun time—to be free of your worries at home or walking through life,” says Gaga. - SOURCE: https://www.vogue.com/article/lady-gaga-guitar-version-disease-lg7

  5. Just few moments before making Spotify 1B history with her hit "Die With A Smile", Lady Gaga just completed a 30 day reign as the #1 woman on Spotify Monthly Listeners. She ruled as the #1 woman from Oct. 21 to Nov. 19 and is expected to continue at least until Christmas. https://twitter.com/gerrygaga28/status/1859043243335577875?t=26oq17vtZOiKeM0CMsbP6Q&s=19

  12. Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” now expected to have a very slight 1% lead over Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” in the Billboard Hot 100 #1 race. The CMA Awards held tonight could reverse its lead as it's likely to boost sales for “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”. https://x.com/talkofthecharts/status/1859253646451753395?t=Zl--GSCOV-Bcte2vlcydBg&s=19 Keep on streaming US Monsters !!

  15. B*TCH how many times did she use the word produce in this interview??? It sounds like she has taken the lead on production wayyy more on LG7 and that is all I've ever wanted. We aren't ready for what is about to come ya'll.

  16. I know a lot of her albums have been for her fans, whether she said it directly or it was hinted in the lyrics, but this feels even more the case with this album. All the promo she's done was made for the people who follows everything she does and is ready to analyze every detail. Revealing the single and the lyrics by copy-pasting the lyrics in the URL? Few people would have found that, but all it takes is a fan to find it and tell the others, and it spreads like wildfire into the community. Things like that don't need to be known by people outside of the fanbase, it's just a nice thing that we all share. It's the same for the Disease performances, it won't reach many people outside of the fanbase, and who cares, because she's doing this for people who matter for her.

  19. 1. I think her team is waiting for a peak on radio right before/after xmas freeze? which is a good strategy seeing that the song is stable on US radio atm and knowing that US charts are like 50% radio (lol but also ... see below) 2. They don't want to pull away focus from a potential #1 with DWAS as well, which I'm sure is informed by Interscope (thus the soft marketing with Disease TikToks) 3. They're all being careful to not overexpose her after DWAS, Harlequin and Joker 2 knowing she has a full album with PR roll out that will at the very least include a 2nd single and Coachella in mid-April. Not to mention Wednesday 2 later in the year. They're in it for the long haul. If there are physicals, I'm sure these will coincide with a live/recorded performance (+ I'm hoping an actual band collab and/or dj remix as well). I personally wouldn't be mad if they waited for the 2nd single and push the physical sale of both at the same time (like a+b sides). It would run her up the charts assuming Disease remains stable once the xmas songs freefall and gives them another chance later to push physical sales of the 2nd single again with another "variant." And before anyone says anything — there's a whole lot of artistic merit behind these antidote/poison versions. It's clear the creative vision and musicality is coming from her, and while the business/entertainment side may be a little less clear, I think her team is genuinely trying to be strategic about her comeback.

  20. ******* HDD: Sources previously confirmed to HITS that EDM star Fred again.. is a lock, while Post Malone verified his presence while announcing his own headlining tour earlier today (11/19). Could the missing piece be a headliner that will truly make Coachella 2025 a must-see? Reports point toward Green Day and Lady Gaga taking other top slots in the desert https://m.hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=343730&title= ******* TMZ : Travis Scott's finally playing the gig that's been 5 years in the making -- he's secured a special guest spot at Coachella 2025 ... TMZ Hip Hop has learned. Sources with direct knowledge of the festival's next lineup tell us Travis will hit the stage Saturday night for what will mark his first time back at Coachella since 2017 -- not that he and the concert organizers haven't tried several times to get him back there Trav was originally supposed to be a headliner in 2020, but the COVID pandemic shut that down. Then, the make-good was scheduled to happen in 2022 -- but the Astroworld tragedy happened in Houston in late 2021, so he was taken off the lineup. He's joining a stacked slate of performers, too -- Post Malone already announced he's headlining with the coveted Sunday night slot -- but we've also confirmed Lady Gaga and Green Day will be the other headliners. https://x.com/PopCrave/status/1859268238275735953?t=YaIaR1wN1bjGfT9C6HbwAA&s=19 Quote

  24. The cast of the “Wicked” movie almost looked a lot different, with Stephen Daldry as director and Lady Gaga and Shawn Mendes in lead roles. The English director and producer of “The Crown” had Gaga in mind to play the character of Elphaba according to sources familiar with the project. We hear he and the “Bad Romance” singer even met a few times to flesh out the character. “They had meetings, the two of them, about the character and who she would be. [Gaga] was essentially cast in his version, and then it fell through,” the source said. https://pagesix.com/2024/11/19/entertainment/lady-gaga-was-essentially-cast-as-elphaba-in-wicked/

  26. Some of you are just overly parasocial... This is her song, and she’s a musician. Musicians perform—that’s what they do. Sometimes, they simply enjoy the art of singing, which is exactly what she’s doing here: embracing her own composition while experimenting with vocal techniques and different arrangements. This is so dehumanizing to see that people are trigger by a live performance..

  39. I'm sure Gaga could've killed the role but Cynthia is just too perfect in every way. She was born to play Elphaba.

  40. This is not marketing, this feels like just her wanting to showcase the way she is playing with her voice, doing stuff that we've never seen before and she is probably just excited to show it. The video from a Joker red carpet or interview where she says she sings in a totally new way on LG7 she seemed so excited about it. I think it's just it.

ITS truly a classic and i was hesitant at first but i never get tired hearing this song, and ive heard it like 20 times a day lol
