While it was a collab, she literally released the biggest Song of the year a few months ago. Who cares if its solo or not. It's still her voice, her image and her popularity that made that Song famous as well. Just like how she carried Shallow, ARUTW and even HMH was a medium sized hit... and even if that's not enough for you, Judas and Bloody Mary still get more Streams than some recent Singles despite either not being hits a decade ago or being deemed flops. This Album cycle also just started. Disease was a taste of whats to come. She proved these critics wrong a million times already and she'll do it again.

There’s no chance Lady Gaga would be told or asked to make significant changes to an album that is finished and begun its promo cycle. She’s worked hard to earn confidence and control from her label, and it’s sad fans are always the ones - not a big bad corporate label - spinning these stories. Interscope lets her release every 4-5 years with creative freedom knowing - with playlists, physicals, etc. - it will debut top 3, go platinum or close, and generate enough interest to sustain a profitable stadium tour. If they released dozens of variants, flooded social media with paid content, offered all physical formats with signed copies, etc., maybe there’d be a hint of desperation. But, for now, there’s no sign of that and with 3 months + holiday season until the album release, that’s not surprising.

On the first listen the bass was the thing that struck me the most. The different timbres are amazing, how the bass changes from the verse to the pre-chorus to the chorus makes the song so dynamic, it's amazing. The bass changes SO MUCH through the different parts of the song. In the verse there are like 4 or 5 different timbres playing with each other, I can't even count them. I looooove the stabbed one. The way it's arranged is amazing, it plays with the kick on the head of the beat and then it quickly changes to the off-beat at the end of the bar. It makes it so fresh. When it's played together with the kick it's a timbre and when it goes into the off-beat it changes just a little bit. And then the continuous one in the chorus fills the mix so heavenly and makes the song busier and heavier. The production of the song is a masterpiece, it's not formulaic at all, there are SO MANY elements that I'm still discovering more and more with each listen. The dynamic production makes up for the repetition of the verses, pre-choruses and choruses. That's what allows the song to be almost 4 minutes long and not make you feel tired of listening to it. I'm still in awe with it. LG7 is gonna strike us like lightning, I can feel it.

She doesn’t have anything to prove ANYMORE also considering how fu***d up is the music industry right now. Music needs to become viral with casual trends, with no deep meaning, the lenght has to be streaming friendly with loss of artistic freedom and creativity. I don’t stand by this and I don’t need to see Gaga topping in a country where people love Trump, trap, plain values and whatsoever. Time for Gaga to stay true to herself, and make music for the geeks, the alternatives, the nerds. Guys it’s obvious that LG7 is for US. Also considering the promo based only on sharing tiktoks of stans. It makes sense. I only want her to earn the right amount of money to be supported and to create. If an hit will come I’ll be happy, but she had her moments in the past, and all I want now is that she creates for our community, which will always be starving for her projects and support her. It’s impossible for a human being to be appreciated constantly by people who change their taste and evolve. She should go with the flow… and I don’t want that. Many artists like Kesha or Kerli are indipendent, make their art and feel good about it. Time for us to literally detox from this mainstream fever.

To be honest Gaga has like Million Reason, ARUTW, Bloody Mary, Judas getting big on streaming. Stupid Love and Hold My Hand did pretty well. Charts position means nothing as ARUTW is far far far bigger than ROM that actually hit #1 so... That said I'd like her to try a bit more with LG7 tbh. As much as Disease is incredible (both music and video) it's not a big passionate start from her as off now. Hope she keeps the best of her attention for what's next.
