The extended “Anthology” version of her latest album will finally be coming out in both physical formats, with four acoustic bonus tracks [“I Can See You”, “You Are In Love”, “Death By a Thousand Cuts” and “Maroon”] tacked onto the 31-song collection that was previously available only as a digital release, adding up to 35 tracks altogether now. The vinyl release includes four marbled, translucent LPs, accompanied by a 12-by-12 inch poster. The quadruple-LP set will retail for $59.99 and the CD edition for $17.99.

It's sad that so many monsters view Gaga's career as this perpetual uphill battle, as if she's always working from a deficit and that one wrong move will make the world turn against her. Or that if a project she works on doesn't blow everyone out of the water, it somehow wasn't worth it. Stan wars aren't based in reality, it's not 2013, it's way more fun to have faith in Gaga than to constantly fret about her success. Artists' careers are cumulative. Gaga's persona and oeuvre outsize her individual projects. A film with mixed reviews or a single that doesn't go number 1 won't tarnish her icon status at this stage in her career. The general public views Gaga as a talented artist, a fashion chameleon, a decent actress, and a good person. It doesn't matter if LG7's lead does well or not. It doesn't matter if it's in the shadow of JFAD's poor commercial performance, or if it doesn't do as well as DWAS. She has something no one else has: she's Lady f*cking Gaga!

I read that Gaga signed on before the script was complete. That’s still ultimately on her, but between not being able to see the finished script, many scenes being reworked on the day of filming, and the pile of Lee stuff that was left on the cutting room floor, it’s clear she probably didn’t get what she originally hoped out of the project. It’s definitely a lesson for her to take forward into her acting career. But hell, the mere concept of a Joker+Harley musical that’s also a sequel to a film that made $1B and won Oscars would probably be enough to get me to sign on at an early stage too if I were her
