So at first we thought only one! but she will perform both on October 1st and October 2nd! She will also do an interview on October 1st ! "Lady Gaga will deliver two performances, taking the stage on October 1 and 2. Not simply booked as a performer, she will be the lead interviewee on October 1." https://headlineplanet.com/home/2024/09/27/gwen-stefani-lady-Gaga-beabadoobee-confirmed-for-jimmy-kimmel-live-performances/50 points

Glad people found their way to Happy Mistake - such a beautiful song. And Gaga is telling a story with this album, she’s not putting the potential hit at the beginning if it doesn’t belong there - that’s not what this record is about.47 points

Ben Rice shared some infos about recording process : https://www.instagram.com/p/DAcYg_sPuQL/?igsh=MXM2bzI4M3IwMjRwcQ== I guess the rumours about her recording some music in Vegas with Brian Newman last Spring are now confirmed to be for Harlequin. They also recorded Harlequin at Dragonfly Creek Studio in Malibu. Interesting he also confirms that Shangri-La only served for final touch. So badically all of the studio pics from there are 100% LG722 points

Born This Way is the definition of "ahead of its time". This whole album still slays 13 years later. Also the impact of TikTok on songs is crazy.18 points

Imagine going back 10 years ago and telling yourself in the past Judas is a hit, Gaga is starring in a movie as Harley Quinn and Katy’s new single debuted on Bubbling Under17 points

The album follows a clear narrative — a build up, a collapse and then a third act. This is ART. F*** the numbers and reading into random desires from everyone BUT Gaga. Why are you (and others) upset? You have a new album, with gorgeous vocals, including a ballad that’s absolutely beautiful, but because of some arbitrary order some of you are suggesting would help streaming numbers, that’s all that matters?17 points

It's so asinine to me that this is the fanbase that will be like "Gaga's amazing! She's not like other singers! She's so versatile and that's what makes her a true artist and performer," but then in the same breath say "I don't want her to do anything other than electronic/dance pop"—even though 5/6 of her solo albums cover that genre already. At this point, if you're a fan of Gaga only because of her electronic/dance pop music you're not a fan. You love the idea of who you want Gaga to be. I'm not saying you have to be in love with everything she does, but she's at a point in her career where she's clearly doing more than just electronic/dance pop. Expecting her to stick to just one thing is the antithesis of who Gaga is. She even explains it in recent interviews. Harlequin is about breaking genres and doing whatever she wants whenever she wants. Some of y'all need to get that through your heads before complaining that she's doing stuff that isn't 100% tailored to your tastes.14 points
