I hope the fan base doesn't downplay this work as merely a side project, or JUST a droplet album or a passion project... because really it deserves to be considered alongside Gaga's best. It's very well thought of and insanely creative, and it really feels like Gaga finding solid ground, finally.

So it was a Harlequin listening party!!! She showed up at around 11pm. There was food and drinks served (these weren't really themed, but nicer than nothing so it's still nice). Doors opened at 8:30. Was a small little venue with only about 130 invited. There was an area where people could have their photo taken to recreate the album cover. A lot of people from her entourage were there, like Michael came in. Joaquin was in but no one realised or noticed that he was there it seems (and he left right before everyone else on Gaga's team left). Gaga came in and started jumping and dancing and talking about Harlequin. There are two original tracks: FAD and track 12. Everything else is a cover. The album sounded great (for a cover album) – production and vocals were strong. I didn't get to see much of her, I was more towards the back and don't believe in harrassing pop stars because I can imagine it's not really fun to be chased around a room. But I had a good time ! Gaga means so much to me. Since I heard Just Dance I become a true fan of her. Her music saved my life many times. Growing up in a small town, in Romania, it was hard being different. I knew the truth about myself, that I am gay, and it's ok. But it was difficult to say this, at a young age. When I was listen her music, I was closing myself in my world, and life become easy. Now that new music is ready to see the world, I just wanna enjoy with everybody this beautiful time!

This album is a gift, enjoy it, she didn't even plan to release an original song for Joker, but she ended up doing a full album of 40 minutes.

Wow. This rivals Born This Way as a magnus opus. Just finished my first listen after my flight to new zealand wow. This album… is so unique. Varied. Beautiful. Exciting. Takes twists and turns. Her voice is YET AGAIN shockingly great and taking us to new places. It’s jazz, but barely. It’s so much more NEW for her. Soul, motown, haunting ballads, hard rock, some synths. This project is incredible if you forget/ignore that these are all covers (like idek any of the originals) This is so good. Gaga wow. A real treat. I hope it does well bc whew
