  1. Just read Gaga's recent *Vogue* article, and I can't help but feel so happy for her. Seeing how much joy Michael Polansky brings into her life is everything. What really struck me is how he was the one who encouraged her to dive back into pop music for her next album. Like, who knows what genre it would’ve been if he hadn't pushed her? Don't get me wrong, I live for Gaga’s genre-bending brilliance, but her pop music is what made me fall in love with her in the first place. I think we all owe Michael a HUGE hug for being that supportive partner and giving her a safe space to keep expressing her iconic pop persona!

  2. I just appreciate Michael for how he is supportive of Gaga. He was with her during Chromatica Ball He was with her during pandemic He was with her during HoG He was with her all the time publicly And we can see how uncomfortable he is on the JFAD red carpet but he is still supportive of Gaga.

  4. Lady Gaga is on a path to healing her chronic pain without the use of marijuana. “When I went on the Chromatica Ball tour in 2022 that was the first time I’ve performed not in pain in … I don’t even remember,” the “Die With a Smile” singer, 38, said in an interview with Vogue published on Thursday, September 5. Gaga noted that her now fiancé, Michael Polansky, whom she got engaged to in July, joined her for the tour and she did it all “pain-free.” “I haven’t smoked pot in years. I’ve, like, changed. A lot,” the Joker: Folie à Deux actress reflected. “I feel like this new album, in a lot of ways, is about that time but from a place of happiness instead of misery. And now, Michael and I are really excited to organize our lives — and our marriage — around our creative output as a couple.” At the start of Gaga’s career, she had to cancel a portion of her 2013 Born This Way tour after she broke her hip and briefly mentioned she suffered from chronic pain. Years later, Gaga gave fans an inside look at her struggles in the 2017 Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two. Gaga later revealed that she suffered from fibromyalgia, which is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues, per the Mayo Clinic. According to Medical News Today, evidence suggests that marijuana can help with the symptoms of pain, including fibromyalgia. In her recent chat with Vogue, Gaga did not reveal how her pain subsided or if she continues to suffer from fibromyalgia. In 2018, Gaga’s condition worsened which caused her to cancel the last ten shows of the Joanne World Tour. “I’m so devastated I don’t know how to describe it,” she tweeted in February 2018. “All I know is that if I don’t do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music. My medical team is supporting the decision for me to recover at home.” Gaga promised fans in London, Manchester, Zurich, Cologne, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris and Berlin that she would return to perform for them. “I promise I will be back in your city,” she continued. “But for now I need to put myself and my well-being first. I love you, forever.” Later that year, Gaga expressed her frustrations with people who questioned her ailment. “I get so irritated with people who don’t believe fibromyalgia is real,” she said in a September 2018 interview with Vogue. “People need to be more compassionate. Chronic pain is no joke. And it’s every day waking up not knowing how you’re going to feel.” https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/lady-Gaga-hasnt-smoked-pot-in-years-after-living-with-chronic-pain/

I read that line like: Baby, I love you… but I know your fans are crazy b****es especially those who comes from Gagadaily and I don’t want those Little fa***ts coming after me and harassing myself on my super low social profile media and calling me the jazzy boy lullaby fiancé so please, I’m f***ing begging you, you need to make Pop music.” xoxo Michael

  12. Just noticed a bit of revisionist history going on, calling HoG a critical and commercial flop and what not . Thought it would be better to create a post for better reach. To jog everyone's memory - HoG had grossed over $166 million against a $75 million budget. It more than doubled its budget. And this was during the pandemic when everything was flopping left, right and centre. It was actually the highest grossing adult drama during the pandemic. For context Jessica Chastain who won the Best Actress at the Oscars that year for Eyes of Tammy Faye, had a box office run of $3.8 million Coming to awards season, Gaga actually got best actress nods in all the pre-cursor awards, including the SAG and the Baftas (none of the Oscar nominated actresses were in this list that year). She, unfortunately missed out on the Oscar, but getting a nod for Critics Choice, Golden Globes, SAG and Baftas is huge as well and an achievement in itself. She also got nominated from multiple critics association circles and even won a few. Most notably won Best Actress at the the New York Critics Film Association, who are quite difficulty to please. Hope this helps.

  21. this piece was incredibly written. so nuanced, so insightful. the writer seems to understand Gaga's penchant for transformation without holding her to any expectations. I love that she's in love, that she's happy and healthy. I love that michael supports her creativity and understands she's a generative person by nature. Gaga has been a mirror to many of us for SO LONG, she deserves to have someone who is her mirror, showing her that she is happiest when she creates and allowing her to be her authentic self. it was refreshing to read Gaga's words noting her own artifice in the past – how it served her and how it didn't, how it will always be a tool in her artist's kit. isn't that why we love her? she modeled "fake it til you make it" behavior for us, and then literally and figuratively tried on so many hats from there, a perfect reminder that we can invent our own realities. it seems like she's found a way to embody all of her identities in a way that is more healing than draining. and I love that for her.

Taking a good step back away from the pop culture bubble has helped me realize how inconsequential things like this really are Nobody serious will run to this random interview and then cross examine them with older interviews. And if they do, they're a chronically online loser whose opinions really shouldn't matter anyway

  29. Gaga and Bruno Mars are still killing it with DWAS, pulling in a massive 11 million streams every day on Spotify. The song's holding strong at #1 worldwide and has just climbed back to #2 in the US a few days ago, with 2.2 million daily streams. Their collab is clearly still a fan favorite and showing no signs of slowing down Gaga also surpassed Sabrina as the 8th most listened artist on Spotify with 83.5 million monthly listeners. Update: In less than a day, Gaga jumped from the 8th most listened to the 6th most listened artist on Spotify.

  41. Vulture is reporting that representative from Cactus Jack Records, the label founded by Scott, sent a letter of complaint to Billboard and tabulation company Luminate, disputing the final chart. The representative reportedly claimed that Billboard‘s methods were “unreliable and incomplete” and that they had missed “an extremely high volume of orders” from their counting that would have presumably increased ‘Days Before Rodeo”s chances of reaching Number One. Cactus Jack representatives also reportedly claimed that a Luminate employee might have “a personal incentive” to want Carpenter to reach Number One, on account of his former employment at Island Records – Carpenter’s label. The letter insists that they were “not reaching out as management for an upset artist” but rather on behalf of the Cactus Jack label and store. The letter also suggests Carpenter’s indie sales had been weighted more heavily than a normal album sale, even though Luminate stopped that practice at the beginning of 2024 to improve accuracy. A spokesperson for Luminate confirmed the company received a letter from a label disputing that week’s Billboard 200 and responded saying that the company stands by the final chart: “We are confident that our numbers are correct in accordance with our processes and methodology.” source source
