  3. Regrettably, the new Dr. Luke-produced song from our Kids' Choice Award Winning Queen did not debut on Billboard Hot 100. The website/charts are not yet updated but Katy Perry’s Billboard chart history has been updated, #Lifetimes is #15 on BUBBLING UNDER. By the way, Shawn Mendes' "Why Why Why" made it into Hot 100. Congrats to Katy on her new bubbling under entry, cannot wait for the 3rd song from 143.

  4. "Academy Award and 13-time GRAMMY-winner Lady Gaga is a one-of-a-kind artist and performer. She has amassed an outstanding 110 million global album sales, 175 billion streams, and 758 million song consumption units, making her one of the best-selling musicians of all time. Her most recent pop album, Chromatica, became her sixth consecutive #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making her the first female artist to achieve this over a ten-year period (2011-2020). Gaga's collaboration with Ariana Grande on “Rain On Me” had the biggest Spotify debut of 2020, reaching #1 on the Global and US Spotify Charts. In 2023, her debut single “Just Dance” became her third diamond-certified single by the RIAA, joining "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face." In 2018, she won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Shallow,” featured on the soundtrack of Best Picture nominee A Star is Born (2018), in addition to claiming a Golden Globe, a Critics’ Choice Award, and four GRAMMYs for both “Shallow” and “I’ll Never Love Again,” also from the same soundtrack. Lady Gaga knows no bounds, from producing her classic pop hits to exploring the classic American Songbook with her albums Cheek to Cheek and Love For Sale with Tony Bennett, both #1 albums. Beyond music, she excels in business as the founder of Haus Labs and thrives as an actress (A Star Is Born, House of Gucci, Joker: Folie à Deux), as well as a passionate activist for mental health and LGBTQ+ rights through her Born This Way Foundation."

  10. This really tells...the public has been LONGING for songs that they can easily sing to, that they can easily relate to, that they can really feel and keep. I cannot stress enough how much we need such kind of music these days, and also songs from belters, powerhouse duets. And the fact that they released both the song and the video really worked because people need visual confirmation, they need to see that the two are "inlove" and they delivered. No complicated music video and song production... just straight forward love letter and instruments and vocals. I feel a debut at Numero Uno.

  16. she's very hardworking and i feel people don't bring that up enough. she keeps delivering, sure people get annoyed by the time between pop albums, but she's so much more than a pop star now.

  22. No offense, but when Gaga came out it was a force of nature that there hasn't been another artist capable of having a debut like hers and I honestly don't think there will be in a long time Not every new artist who is extravagant and wears strange outfits has to be seen as the new Gaga. This girl is miles away from being the biggest artist since Gaga even tho i wish her the best on her journey cuz she looks like a down to earth and genuine person

  23. https://variety.com/2024/film/features/todd-phillips-joker-2-movie-interview-1236111122/amp/ “Joker: Folie à Deux,” is about to debut at the Venice Film Festival, and Phillips is feeling jittery about how the unconventional encore will be received. After all, instead of battling Batman, this Joker sings and dances with Lady Gaga. “Todd took a very big swing with this whole concept and with the script, giving the sequel to ‘Joker’ this audacity and complexity,” says Gaga. “Joker: Folie à Deux” may be his most go-for-broke gamble yet. It’s a movie that kicks off with a Looney Tunes-inspired cartoon starring the Joker (courtesy of “The Triplets of Belleville” animator Sylvain Chomet) before hurtling through prison riots, courtroom faceoffs and a variety-show sequence that finds Phoenix and Gaga portraying a homicidal Sonny & Cher. Now, Arthur is locked up in a psych ward and facing the death penalty. But after meeting a fellow patient, Harleen “Lee” Quinzel (Gaga), who is obsessed with him — or, rather, his alter ego, Joker — Arthur ditches his medication and prances into a fantasy world that often plays like the MGM musicals of yesteryear on acid. As their bond intensifies, Arthur and Lee break into songs like “Get Happy,” “For Once in My Life” and “That’s Life” that convey their shifting emotions: He’s drawn to romantic ballads; she prefers music about power. That led Phillips and Silver to Harley Quinn, a supervillain first introduced in a 1990s animated “Batman” series and later brought to life by Margot Robbie in films like “Suicide Squad” and “Birds of Prey.” But as played by Gaga, this Harley may be manipulative and amoral, but she’s also more grounded. Gaga has proven that she can belt out any style of music (see her jazz albums with Tony Bennett), and Phoenix, who once channeled Johnny Cash in “Walk the Line,” is similarly gifted at carrying a tune. But Phillips and his “Joker: Folie à Deux” stars wanted to create a rawer, more unstable sound, fluctuating between euphoria and despair, even if that occasionally required singing off-key.
