Makes it seem like there was no real vision for the album other than make songs like her previous hits.9 points

The Weeknd has announced a one-night only concert in São Paulo, Brazil. The event will debut an all-new live production, and will take place on Saturday, September 7, at Estádio MorumBIS—a 66,795-capacity soccer stadium in the Brazilian metropolis. Produced by Live Nation, the performance follows the Weeknd’s highly stylized After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which took place in 2022 and 2023. One dollar from each ticket sold for the São Paulo concert will go toward the Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund, which provides food and support to those experiencing severe hunger around the globe. The Weeknd—who was named a United Nations World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassador in 2021—will partner with the United Nations organization to make the donation. source8 points

Is it bad that I'm kinda glad the CBF didn't get an Emmy nom? Now she won't have to extend the Chromatica era for another 3 months Like, let's just move on to LG7 Gaga, as much as I love Chromatica, I'm so over it at this point7 points

She divided them as 1 Interlude 4 Interlude 3 Interlude7 points

Honestly ya’ll actually believed she was gonna perform at the Olympics?! Can someone send feedback to her team about how terrible this LG7 album rollout has already been? Teasing since summer 2023 (a year ago), terrible rollout of TCB film (European countries still can’t watch it btw), only a snippet of potential new music released but now 2 months old, an archived Sasha Velour interview that gave us nothing, and now silence for 2 weeks and counting. LOL The GP also have NO idea any of this is happening and they’ve forgotten about her given there have been SO many new pop releases this year. Her 4-5+ year gaps between albums is really hurting her career/commercial success.7 points
-
Good! She doesn’t have time as she is releasing LG7 next week and immediately beginning writing/recording sessions for LG8 before she begins touring LG7 in 3 months7 points

I've been following this thread daily, multiple times a day, since may 25. Now that winter break's almost over for me and I gotta get back to college, I wanted to announce that I won't be checking out this thread anymore until Gaga says something. Goodbye monsters, it's been real. ........this is me pretending not to care so Gaga announces the lead single's release date7 points

I was there too! I saw Düssedorf and Stockholm shows. The night before the opening show I was there at the hotel hoping she would come and say hi ahah… So crowded! I remember all the people passing by with cars, stopping and asking: “What’s going on?” And we would just answer: “Lady Gaga” and they would go: “Whaaaaaat??????” Ahh so much fun! And yeah Düsseldorf is a relatively small city so it was truly SATURATED with LMs. And yeah I also remember all the “G A G A” on the back of so many t-shirts.6 points

The newest film, Descendants: The Rise of Red with Rita Ora, debuted on the Disney+ streaming service over the weekend, and quickly became one of the most-viewed original films in its history. According to Deadline, The Rise of Red had 6.7 million views in its first three days of availability, making it “Disney Branded Television’s most-viewed DCOM premiere ever on the streamer, according to Disney.” They note that while “this is a fairly big number for any Disney+ release” it can be hard to compare it to other films, because Disney does not report the viewership data for all of its releases. Earlier this year,” they add, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film debuted to 4.6M views in three days. source source6 points
