  6. Orlando Bloom believes the late Queen Elizabeth "saved" his life. The 48-year-old actor was gripped with terror when his parachute failed to open and he had to pull the emergency toggle while free-falling at 120mph for his TV show 'Orlando Bloom: To The Edge', but he believes fate intervened thanks to the British monarch, as the incident occurred just hours after she passed away in September 2022. “I cannot believe this just happened to me on my seventh jump. “I pulled it twice, I looked up, the toggle, it was twisted and locked and I couldn’t get it. I was like, ‘What do I do? Do I undo and try and untie it?’ “That one was for the Queen and she totally saved me.” source

  7. I dont really know anything about Orlando, but lemme just say: KATY'S IMPACT I think its so cringe when people say stuff like that. The lady died, you didn't, move on without making up some weird and stupid stories.

  12. It's hard to turn Texans off to The Star-Spangled Banner, but four-time Grammy nominee Ingrid Andress nearly did exactly that before Monday's Home Run Derby. In what many described as 'the worst national anthem ever,' the 32-year-old country singer contorted Francis Scott Key's poem into something bordering on a painfully shrill requiem. At least one player, the Phillies Alec Bohm, cracked a smile during the rendition, while attendees at Globe Life Field in Arlington quickly joined to compete with Andress' sharply crackling voice. More than a few fans reacted on social media by sharing photos of Donald Trump's bleeding ear from this weekend's shooting in Philadelphia. source

  13. It's out as a single on streaming with an instrumental version https://music.apple.com/cl/album/i-can-do-it-with-a-broken-heart-single/1757015576?ls I LOVE this cover, just look at it. It's also national snake day... I hope a music video is coming

  14. Might be controversial, but Just Another Day. She sounds so cute singing it and I love that it’s an old song from when she was poor and trying to make it in NYC. It’s perfect Sunday morning music and a staple of my household.

  15. The lyrics for Woman's World are not personal and quite trying to appeal as commercial as possible if it was 2014 (let's put in this way). I wanted Katy to win in this era, so I made ChatGPT rewrite Woman's World in Katy's perspective and personal struggles as a woman in this industry and motherhood. [Intro] (It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it) [Verse 1] Raised on gospel hymns, dreams beyond the choir Left her roots behind, lit her own fire Broke through the noise, but they said it was luck Critics and cynics, but she never got stuck She soared, the world at her feet Heartbreaks and betrayals, didn't miss a beat From small-town girl to the biggest stage Her story is written on every page [Pre-Chorus] She’s been told she can't, she’s been pushed around Superhuman, breaking bounds She’s a fighter, she’s a dreamer Open your eyes, see her strength, and you’ll believe her, you know [Chorus] It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh, uh-huh) It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh, uh-huh) You better celebrate 'Cause, baby, we ain't goin' away (Oh) It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh, uh-huh) [Verse 2] Under California skies, caused a stir Faced backlash, but she stayed true to her Through love and painful splits Found strength in music, never called it quits With a family in bloom Balancing fame and motherhood, making room Her story’s told A journey of resilience, fierce and bold [Pre-Chorus] She’s been doubted, she’s been scorned Superhuman, weathering the storm She’s a fighter, she’s a leader Open your eyes, see her power, you’ll be a believer, you know [Chorus] It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh, uh-huh) It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh, uh-huh; you better) You better celebrate (Celebrate) 'Cause, baby, we ain't goin' away (Oh) It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh) [Verse 3] From gospel beginnings to pop's biggest star Every high and low, she's come so far Critics tried to define her, put her in a box But she broke free, turned keys in the locks Faced depression, found her light Turned her struggles into might Her legacy, a testament to the paths she's paved [Pre-Chorus] She’s a flower, she’s a thorn Superhuman, never worn She’s a fighter, she’s a queen Open your eyes, she’s the strongest you’ve seen, you know [Chorus] It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh, uh-huh) It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh, uh-huh; you better) You better celebrate (Celebrate) 'Cause, baby, we ain't goin' away (Oh) It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh) [Outro] Lucky to be livin' in it (Woo, uh-huh) Lucky to be livin' in it That's right It's a woman's world (Uh-huh) And you're lucky to be livin' in it (Uh-huh)

  20. This is what GRATES me when Monsters say they dislike Gaga projects because she’s in the editing bay. It’s still professionally edited. She’s not literally doing the editing herself, there’s a professional doing the work, she’s just overseeing its execution.

  25. I understand. It seems Adele has never been interested in the fame aspect of her career. She doesn’t appear motivated by success, awards, charts, or anything like that. Having already achieved a highly successful career and built a lasting legacy, it's clear that she isn’t focused on expanding her success even further, unlike Taylor Swift, who is motivated by and enjoys growing her career. She values her privacy and enjoys spending time with her family. Given this, it's very understandable that Adele is taking a long break. Her music has always been inspired by her life events, and perhaps there's currently nothing new for her to write about.

  36. Editing it all day may mean she's sitting in an editing booth with a professional editor, giving input, etc. I'm an editor and clients/producers will say that, even though they're not literally doing the editing lol. I mean it's possible I guess!
