  5. i really don't think lana gives a f*ck about anybody elses drama and was just there in the moment/being polite just like when Gaga had to deal with caitlynn jenner at an event; she politely responded and just moved on

  6. I hate all of you that were so mean to her. People are so nasty to her any time things aren't going the way they think, and yet again, the woman is pushing herself creatively. Sorry that she isn't a mindless hit machine; she's a true creative that wants to stretch herself in ALL areas creatively. We should be happy that we stan someone so talented and driven. It's about time we stop discounting her.

  9. Since Gaga finally is releasing the film, I now have the chance to share these posters I was working on last year! Each poster represents one act from the tour. I wanted to emphasize the backdrops and stage to a much larger scale, to make sense of the brutality concept of the tour. Full twitter threads here:

  10. Why is less music a good thing? Like if the artist is good there won't be filler tracks even with a long album. If it's too long for you then just don't listen to it all in one sitting.

  11. Thank God. Now you can all shut up.

  14. when you look at the interview, they seem to geniunely appreciate eachother. Lana performed at Kim and kanye's wedding and did that skims collab. Maybe she is just able to not act like a high school kid and be friend with people no matter if her other friend doesnt like them ? At this point Swifties are really acting like kids... I ve never been a huge taylor fan but she knew what she was doing when she wrote thank you aIMee and this definitely not a good example to give to people. She has been fueling stan wars on the internet for years and it is time to stop. its not like if it was only kim and kanye, but also Katy perry, almost all of her exes. we ve been complaining about the lack of material Gaga gives us but at this point, I prefer stanning a non active singer who at least spread kindess.

  17. For people complaining that they have already seen this: watching a fan video on YouTube recorded on a cell phone with people’s heads in the way is not the same as seeing professionally recorded and edited footage. Plus, there will be multiple angles and good views of both stages that she used, not to mention better sound quality. Additionally, even those of us who have seen it might enjoy seeing it again to relive the experience, and there are plenty of people who never got to see it. Not everyone could afford tickets and travel costs, and the show did not travel to every part of the world. I personally love to rewatch concerts that I have already seen if the performers are important to me. I’m really glad that she is preserving this and making it available to a larger audience.

  22. Wow! I am HYPED!! This show and album hold such a special place in my heart. I did a social media blackout leading up to the show so I could go into it blindly, and I remember saying to my friend that even though the aesthetic has been this 80s campy, colorful, sci-fi theme, I hope she finds a way to honor the dark side of the source material. When I walked into MetLife stadium and saw the brutalist stage, I couldn’t help but cry knowing she was about to take us on a wild ride. I’ve been lucky to have seen every tour she’s done. This one really moved me in an emotional way that the rest haven’t. I can’t wait to see what they’ve done with the film. Huge thanks to the lady and all the people who made this tour and film happen.

  23. Please let this by the start of Gaga’s revival. If she drops an album this year along with the Joker 2 release later in the year, she’ll be EVERYWHERE again. Followed by a stadium tour next summer. She needs to take advantage of this cause lots of other artists are underperforming with their releases and it’s screaming for someone with Gaga’s artistic and creative genius to take centre stage.

  26. Well, of course it's an opinion and those can be different, but for real... How is a professional recording not an added value? - Better quality - Different angles - Professionally edited, making a movie is an art form in itself - Legacy/Preservation: even in this age of social media, an official release of something is still more important than recordings on YouTube - We'll also probably have some behind the scenes, so we have NOT "all seen that" - "She didn't interact with her fans at all" -> This is not true. You can feel she interacted less, but less is not the same as "at all". - Her vocals were fine, better than during the artRAVE. Though I do agree that her tour vocals peak was JWT. - Tastes differ, but the tour was not boring, this is rude.

  27. oh wow, that's kind of the end of an era since the fame was one of those evergreen albums that was almost always in the billboard 200. wish her team cared a little bit more about her music legacy, and not just shift focus to (movie) acclaim.

  29. This is why I always try my best to be patient with artists like her. If she's taking her time, it usually means she's cooking something BIG. I hope it includes development/backstage sequences!

  36. I'm so happy that they have immortalised the tour this way and given it the treatment it deserves as it is arguably her best one since the Born This Way Ball (yes). This tour proved that she is still a beast on stage and was her great return as a touring force. I had the pleasure of attending it and honestly I couldn't have asked for more as a fan of DarkGa (which is the true spirit and essence of Mother Monster in my opinion). The vocals, fashion, choreography, attitude, message... everything was so on point.

  37. "Here’s the truth—no matter where life or my career has taken me, my time with you always is a path back to a very powerful part of myself." OK THIS. She's self-aware, and I felt those words in my soul.
