It's absolutely done, and I think the insiders were right back in Jan but everything changed after Universal pulled all music from tiktok - and while waiting for a resolution Taylor then dropped TTPD which no one in the industry was expecting, and I suspect that delayed LG7 even further It's been proven time and time again that there is mega potential for her to go viral on tiktok and that paired with Joker II coming up you better believe Interscope is making sure everything is lined up perfectly for her. Taylor's had her moment, now Beyonce - Gaga is next. Now that Universal and tiktok have a deal, I expect it to get announced in the next couple weeks.24 points

Lady Gaga's restauranteur father slammed 'chaos' taking over the Big Apple as he revealed he was attacked outside his church. Joe Germanotta, an outspoken critic of New York politicians and their Covid-19 economic policies, said the city has been spiraling into lawlessness in recent years. 'I just got attacked outside my church, I was attacked,' he told Fox Business in a wide-ranging interview. 'It was 7:30 in the morning, and I don't know whether he's homeless, he was a little disturbed... First, he pushed the pastor of the church. We were standing out in front, and then he came down the stairs coming after me.' Germanotta brought up the random assault as he raised the alarm over declining safety in New York City, amid furious anti-Israel protests taking over the city's Columbia and New York University campuses. The superstar's father has become a frequent commentator on issues around New York City in recent years, as he told Fox this week that he lays much of the blame on President Biden's administration. A fixture of the Upper West Side neighborhood and owner of the area's Italian restaurant Joanne Trattoria, he previously spoke out after his neighboring hotel was transformed into a migrant shelter last summer. In his interview this week, Germanotta said he sees the city as becoming increasingly 'unsafe.' 'What's been so unsafe is a lot of people running around, just hanging out on corners, loitering,' he said. He explained: 'There's probably enough scooters and bicycles on the sidewalk to expand your delivery zone to Connecticut. 'They're everywhere, and they're buzzing around. You have to look both ways when you're walking down the street, because most of the time they're riding in both directions. 'The city's become unsafe in a couple of different ways, not just crime. Now there's chaos.' Germanotta said he has seen up to a third less business in recent years, which he blamed on not only lawlessness, but escalating inflation. 'I can tell you this, where we're getting hurt most is the economy,' he said. 'And it's been a steady decline since this new administration and the mayor and the crime and the newcomers. And just every time you turn around, there’s a 'gotcha' there.' Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, appears to have more liberal politics than her father - but generally keeps her views private. SOURCE: Daily Mail/Fox Business9 points

So? The font, pose and everything is the same. They could have gone about it differently. Sure the pose was already shot in the 90s but they could have used something else.9 points

I hae to make a thread about this show. This masterpiece of bleakness and dark humor. I loved it and ive seen it so many times. I love James and Alyssa so much...... my children This show evoked a deep response in me. A nostalgia for something i had never experienced, a longing, tears piling up and a hope for someone who might like me someday.8 points

"Nothing’s going to come out this year,” he says. “I’m enjoying being on tour. I released two records on tour last year and it’s quite a lot being on tour and releasing records. So, I’ve made the new music and I’m just going to sit on it for a bit.”8 points

I always believe it’s best to let an album sit with you for a few days before fully forming an opinion. My first listen has been pleasant. It’s a chill, summer-esque, sandy beach vibe. “These Walls”, and “Whatcha Doing” are great standouts so far! I think the weakest song on the record is “Anything For Love.” It’s a decent pop album. It’s not going to change pop culture or anything, but it contains enough cute tracks to vibe out while you’re poolside with friends, drinking a fruity cocktail.8 points

people will use everything that she does to justify the conservatorship, as if her behavior was not the product of it and how traumatic it was power to her, hope she gets better she should cut people from her life and start over, getting out of US would be great too not sure why she didn't move to UK probably family and stuff, even tho they are sh1t8 points

How can she and her team be so unaware that this album cover is extremely similar to Lana’s for Born To Die??? 😭😭😭7 points

How dreary it must feel... to have everyone watching, but to be totally alone. I hope Britney's story has a happy ending.7 points

Falling Forever should have been the second single. Had she performed it at the Grammy's, I feel like it would have stolen some of Miley's thunder with Flowers. It could have singlehandedly saved the era and finding Training Season on album release would have been a nice call-back to FN for the haters rather than the tired extension it's felt like to everyone.7 points

I don't want to sound like a Saint Monster, but I would genuinely be happy for her if this is truly how she feels. I would be happy for her if she prioritized other projects over her music career. The music and art she has shared with me (and others) are already more than I could ever ask for. Truly. Knowing her story and struggles, at this point, all I hope is that she's happy and pursues projects that are important to her. Personally, I'm not satisfied with my current job, and I hope the situation changes soon. I know how awful it is to work just for the money, and it's something I wouldn't wish upon anyone. I hope everyone gets the chance to earn their income and pursue happiness through their passions.7 points

I really like 5 of the songs. For me it’s a fair rating, maybe a 7 if I’m generous. I think Pitchfork hit the nail on the head tho with pointing out about how she talked about the albums influences and none of that being really in the album (Massive Attack, trip hop and rave culture? What? Where?). I think maybe the way people review and enjoy this would have been different if she hadn’t talked so much about these influences as if the sound would be a big departure from FT.7 points

I don't see the problem. Didn't they give AOTY 2025 6.6 as well? Then 6.6 is a huge compliment.7 points

Does this mean she’s glad that she gave up music as her work and is doing makeup/movies instead? Still the Queen.7 points
