  2. Margot has reportedly warned her friends to keep Shakira away from her or she fears there may be a clash of words. The Hips Don’t Lie singer recently said that her sons - Milan, 11, and Sasha, 9 - "felt it was a little emasculating." "I like pop culture when it attempts to empower women without robbing men of their possibility to be men, to also protect and provide," she added. "I think that men have a purpose in society and women have another purpose as well. We complement each other!" "Margot doesn't appreciate the nasty things Shakira said about the film," the insider told the National Enquirer. "She worked very hard on it and is proud of all the attention it received." "Margot can try to cast it aside as jealousy, but it still stings," they added. "The two have some mutual friends. Margot's warning them she'd better not run into Shakira or she'll give her a piece of her mind!" The Babylon actress also thinks Shakira has been "brainwashed by the patriarchy." source source

  6. She has such a problematic attitude/anger issues. She threw that sh.it hard at the person. That could've caused damage.. but also imagine if she hit the wrong person and cut their face open. She needs help. And the people praising her and kissing her ass in the comments too

  7. Given all the versions that she pulled and the amount of fans she has, any less would've been worrying.

  12. The tentacle swallow.mp3, the Aura/Partynauseous hybrid intro mix transitioning into "Schiebe", yep epic all round. It was also my first time hearing "Schiese" as a new fan, and I was like "what the **** is this screechy sound"? Hoping for Rock In Rio next!

  17. The album sucks, it has no replay value at all A Taylor Swift release doing massive numbers is a given but she is creatively bankrupt right now. We are looking at the new Ed Sheeran of music

  18. Please don't hate me, but i don't find Taylor Swift's mind to be a particularly interesting place to explore – which is how I feel this album is unlikely to end up interesting that many more people than her diehard fans. Don't get me wrong, I like her lyrics and her writing but she strikes me as someone who's never really experienced any real hardship in life. Like the worst thing that's ever happened to her in her life was breaking up, or having Kanye stand up on stage to tell her Beyoncé deserved an award more than her. I don't find her take on life that compelling since it doesn't strike me as though she's lived much beyond fame, success and fan obsession... The reason folklore worked so well is that for once she wasn't obsessing over her (limited) life experiences imo...

  23. Please let’s not act a fool again GGD. Enough with the “OMG how”, “OMG something is rigged”, “OMG it’s because of multiple versions”. You can not like her but really we gonna play the surprised pikachu face card over and over when this is her 6th album with similar stats (while the others were not far behind). An album can not be great in anyone’s opinion and still sell well? You guys know that right.

  27. The way she hadn't performed it since.. that moment at the Born This Way Ball when she knew it was all over. This moment at Coachella is so powerful. She really reclaimed the song and took the power back, rather than it just be known as "the song that broke her hip." The entire show was an apology letter for ARTPOP, including the surprise release of The Cure.

  28. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary,” Swift muses, and it sounds like satire. This is your songwriter of the century? Open the schools. Aside from the Puth nod, which I can only discern as a joke, I think Antonoff should stick to guitar-playing. Get that man away from a keyboard, I’m begging you. and rows of variant LP copies will haunt the record aisles of Target stores just as long as Midnights has—if not longer. This album and its hackneyed grasps at relevance exist as “Did I just hear that?” personified, but in the most derogatory sense of the notion. But, you cannot write about someone being a “tattooed golden retriever” and get away with it and still retain your title as the best songwriter of your generation. You just cannot. The billionaire is having an identity crisis, but there are no social media apps for her to buy up. So she sings like Lana Del Rey and writes meta-self-referential songs about looking like Stevie Nicks. she, too, can’t outrun the damning fate of being plum out of ideas by hopping in her jet and skirting off to God knows where. See you at the Grammys.

  29. What the actual fúck are performers who are chronically late doing backstage. Like what else does she have going on in her life that requires her to put off doing the thing she's getting paid an exorbitant amount of money to do, for people paying exorbitantly more to be there than they should.

  30. "Thank you guys. For f---ing everything," Del Rey began the post. "Jack and John and Billie for showing up for me -and the band for just killing it and spending months in Sylmar in a 40° warehouse to the point but it was so cold that I caught laryngitis that literally left just a few hours before I hit the stage because Tessa DiPietro spent two hours lifting that cough remotely through her body intuitive skills just minutes before showtime, Wally Crowder for my bad as bikes. Every stunning dancer on stage- and Alex for her beautiful choreography. My stunning three singers who danced and sang their asses off in style and high matching boots. Judah + Chelsea 😇." She then shifted her tone, as she thanked "Emily" — referring to Emily Holt — for taking over tour manager duties after "Pete quit for no reason after 15 years," appearing to shade former tour manager Peter Abbott. Del Rey alleged "he was butt hurt that I got 10 comped bikes for free from Wally" and "decided he was more of a stage designer than a tour manager." "Never got a phone call probably never will. Still grateful for the 15 years though," she added. "No worries – 37 days was more than enough time to put together an entire headlining set all by ourselves. Not stressful at all. Way to go Emily you f---ing killed it with grace." Del Rey then went onto thank the rest of her team without skipping a beat. People Magazine

  33. Guess a lot of people listened to the album out of curiosity but didn't play it twice because of how flat it is. One thing that really confuses me though is how low her views on YouTube are... Considering how she's smashing streaming records left and right since a few eras I'd expect her YouTube views to be much bigger than like 60M views on her last few music videos...

  34. It was all over the place musically imo and there was nothing unique about it after the intro. Any pop girl could've done it minus the piano bits. It was simply not a "Gaga" show. Super weird. She used to be very smart about using simple things like looks and small but clever props on festival stages to make a huge, viral impression. See V Festival, Glastonbury. This was when she barely had a budget. Now her budget was huge and somehow the creative decisions were super unimaginative. That tells you something about where her creative team is at.
