  3. Idk why people love short albums these days.. we used to get double the amount of music as this. You wait and wait and wait for years for your favs to drop something and the experience is over in half an hour? That kinda sucks... I get the 'no filler tracks' discussion but the thing is everyone likes different songs. There isn't such a thing as a 'filler track' it's just your least favourites. There are plenty of tracks that others hate but I love and vice versa. Just skip the ones you don't like and don't add them to your playlist... but at least some other people get more songs they actually do like. In this album one person might say "omg yass every song is a banger finally an album with no filler tracks" and someone else will say "it kinda sucks because out of 11 songs 4 were filler tracks so we only got 7 good songs" because it's literally preference I'm just saying that it kinda feels like a bit of a rip-off when these days we pay just as much for half the content we used to get. Or wait just as long to only get half the amount. Born This Way for example is 61minutes long and even longer with the extended edition tracks

  4. I'm so tired of people calling songs "filler" when it's just not a super popular song. Let those who like the songs enjoy them and you can just skip it. By this site's standards 30% of the album is filler anyways because most haven't even seemed to like any of the singles. So should those have been cut and the album been 27 minutes with 8 tracks?

  5. that feels short but the track lengths generally aren't that bad

  13. Someone needs to tell artists that coachella crowds are always so much worse and less reactive than normal concert crowds, most people probably don't know who you are or are rich kids just going on a cool trip.

  14. I’m just going to say it… Orlando’s uncut bloom is just too good… it’s tarnished her music quality. Good D = bad music That’s why she was serving bops while married to that fella with the bad D that probably smelled like cigarettes

  15. Courtney Love positively hates the idea of Taylor Swift. ‘Taylor is not important. She might be a safe space for girls, and she’s probably the Madonna of now, but she’s not interesting as an artist.’ And she’s even tiring a little of Lana Del Rey: ‘I haven’t liked Lana since she covered a John Denver song, and I think she should really take seven years off. Up until ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’ I thought she was great. When I was recording my new album, I had to stop listening to her as she was influencing me too much.’ And as for Madonna, ‘I don’t like her and she doesn’t like me. 'I like the idea of Beyoncé doing a country record because it's about Black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed, not that I like it much. As a concept, I love it. I just don't like her music.’

  16. Taylor is super popular but nothing about her music or artistry has any significant impact. She's basically just a celebrity who sings at this point

  24. Damon Albarn said “In the spirit of clarity and truth, this is probably our last gig” during Blur’s set at weekend two of Coachella 2024 last night It comes after Albarn stated in December that the band would be going on a hiatus until further notice, saying “it’s too much for me”. Albarn was not impressed by the Coachella crowd during the first weekend of the festival. Albarn’s Blur played a 13-song set, including Nineties classics like “Girls & Boys”, “Popscene” and “Song 2”, on the festival’s main stage on Saturday (13 April). The frontman tried to lead a singalong during the bridge of “Girls & Boys” but was met with silence on multiple attempts. Eventually, he told the audience plainly: “You’re never seeing us again so you might as well f***ing sing it. Know what I’m saying?” “Song 2”, at least, was met with a huge reaction from the crowd, Albarn said: “This song has been so good to us. But I did get shown a TikTok of it being kind of performed by a vacuum cleaner which is you know…. It is humbling and inspiring at the same time.” source

  25. Lol poor Courtney’s about to get harassed by 10 million 12-year olds for the next year and a half. She’s always been brutally honest with her opinions on other celebrities and I think she has a right to express them just as everyone here does. (Also she’s kinda right)

  35. queen, underrated, one of the best songwriters ever, best artist from the 90's and she's right well, i wouldn't call madonna totally unintresting, she did at least some revolutionary things back in the day but for taylor and lana - no lies were told lana's music started to annoy me even earlier then that. nfr was a huge drop in quality for me. chemtrails and banisters were a bit better tho

  36. I’m sorry but an artist who reacts like this to a DEAD crowd is someone who loves performing and genuinely wants to make people happy. Good on them for not wanting to go back. All people want to do at concerts is record with their phones rather than be in the moment. **** that.
